Not sure how to feel about this one. The premise is a bit meh; but the comedy is not bad.

That was actually pretty relaxing and pleasant. The girls are endearing and do feel like real people, with a twist. So far, my favorite non-sequel show.

When I first saw this on the line-up, I honestly wasn't too keen to see it, considerin' how the majority of the winter titles weren't the kind I'd go for. But after checking Episode 1, I actually liked it. It aint the greatest, but it has that light flavor that kept me entertained. Here's hoping the rest of the series would remain as interesting.

As a manga reader this would be the point where I complain about how only ~50% of this episode followed the events of the first few chapters, how it reorders, alters and adds in entirely new bits that weren't in the manga in place of other events that disclosed the pertinent information in that new scene etc BUT I absolutely won't do that because it was still very much enjoyable for me and nothing felt like it was a disservice.

It was good and I'll fite all the other manga readers who disagree.

Interview with the Vampire High School Girl...

I'm a bit particular about my vampires, I prefer the old school sleep-in-a-coffin, burn-up-in-sunlight type; but you very rarely see that in anime.
Just gotta roll my eyes at 'drinking tomato juice'...

The one that caught my attention the most (besides Hikari) is Machi so far. How can anyone ignore that adorable head of hers?

+1 Love me my dullahans.
The cute pillow to put her head on is a nice touch.

I was surprised the succubus character is wearing a tracksuit instead of some fanservicey outfit. Is this what they call gap moe?

I was pretty shocked too. If I'm gonna be honest, I bet they're gonna show her in a fanservicey outfit at one point. But hey I would love to be proven wrong here.

So is the OVA going to be Every Day Interviews with Monster Girls?

Really good first episode. Sensei's bluntness is a good mix with how adorable the rest of the cast is.

Well, that was cute. If it keeps the fanservice to a minimum like it has so far and keeps up the good interactions between characters, I will keep watching.

Yeah, given her nature as a succubus some kind of awkward sexy incident is probably inevitable.

Now that I think about it, I guess this anime is going the Lost Girl route where every demi-human was explained as some kind of mutation (an explanation I was never a fan of) so I wonder what math-sensei's monster attributes are. This isn't MonMusu, so the original medieval lore about succubi is right out lol

Well, that's the joke, right? The succubus is the one woman desperately trying to fit in by looking as non-sexy and plain as demi-humanly possible .

That was a lot better than I was expecting. Looking forward to seeing how the story progresses.

That was awesome. It felt really quick even though it was a full 23 minutes. I guess that's just how much I enjoyed it.

And don't worry Sakie sensei . I can still tell what you're hidin' under that track suit. *rawr*

I decided to have a look at this one. I'm wondering why the vampire is complaining about having to wear long sleeves in summer to keep the sun away but is happy wearing a mini skirt with short socks. Why doesn't she have on tights/pantyhose or long socks or even a longer skirt or some trousers?

Episode 1

This was a good start.

When I first saw the poster for this, I figured it was going to be another harem with more variations on monster girls. Instead, we got this fun little fantasy comedy about human-like monsters and a teacher wanting to know more about them.

I'm ready to learn more too and see these characters have a fun time!

The more I think about Hikari the more disappointed I feel.

As far as vegan vampires go she compares unfavorably to both Edward Cullen and Count Duckula.

As far as Monster Girls go... She is just not much of a monster. Even compared to Papi the Harpy... with her skull crushing talons... hmm...

Monster Girls are supposed to inspire apprehension in addition to attraction. To push you away even as they pull you closer.
