Is it all possible for Crunchy Roll to get a larger selection of older anime?
I really want to use you guys to help support the studios that make anime, but as things are right now, there isn't much incentive for me to actually get a premium account with you, as you have almost nothing I'm interested in watching, and I can't find any of the shows I'm looking for either that I thought I might be able to watch here.

I'm kind of an older school anime buff, and so are many of my friends, who are the people I mostly learn about series I haven't seen through. So I try coming over here to see if I can perhaps support the official releases....and I can't find any of the ones I've been looking for.

So far I've searched for classic Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z (Yay! You have Super at least), Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Nanoha's A's, StrikerS, Patlabor, Iria, Claymore, Dominion Tank Police and quite a few others, and I can't find any of them here.
Most of the anime I'm currently interested in are not available on Crunchy Roll.

Dragon Ball/Z is a FUNimation property, and there's been no announcement about when those may be coming over to CR; same with Claymore.

Amazon Video (at least in the UK) has much of the Nanoha series, but there's been no indication that will be added the the catalog in other regions. Nanoha kinda floundered in the US, partially due to poor timing by the original licensor, Geneon, who has since gone out of business. Since there's no active North American licensor for anything Nanoha, it's harder for CR to add it as a catalog title.

You might find some other stuff, like Patlabor, on http://www.theanimenetwork.com/, but I'd suggest using http://because.moe to find if a title is available for streaming in your region.

Like eyeofpain mentioned, most of it belongs to Funimation or other companies (???). I believe CR used to have Inuyasha and Ghost in the Shell, if I recalled correctly.

Amazon has the Nanoha titles, and they appear to be available in most countries via their Amazon Prime Video service (which they expanded to most of the world late last year). The one exception is the US, where accessing them requires paying an additional $5 per month for their Anime Strike add-on service.

If they did, it would have been prior to when they went legit at the beginning of 2009.

If one is in the US, both titles are available on Hulu. (Inuyashas provided by Viz, and GiTS:SAC provided by Manga Entertainment).

Well, I guess so. I joined in 2006 so I mean it's possible that most of the older Anime(s) were in the listing before it went official. But as far as how much I can remember, that's a big/huge lack of info.
