for the past few months i have to say Bestbuy.. i didn't buy anything from them for years.. but over the past months i spent enough to reach Elite status -- discounts + 6% cash back + points.. hard to pass on it

other times. mostly just costco and wal-mart .. once in a while homedepot, lowes, etc..

tried boxed.com recently and looks like something i can buy stuff from (when there are coupons)

most Millennials use jet.com (or so they said)..but i have yet to buy anything from jet.. i don't know if it's like Rakuten (buy.com)..

I'm not making my local grocery store, but there. It's not Wal-Mart or any chain that goes across the country.
Newegg.
Amazon.

Any specific items that I need right away, I'll cave in and go to Wal-Mart or some other specific store. I just check prices online and go to the most reasonable one depending on distance.

That's it, really. I'm not a shopper.

Electronics/Games

  • Amazon - I purchase a lot of things from Amazon. However, the majority of my pre-orders are here and generally appear on the game or system's release date. My PS4 Pro came a day early, which was pretty awesome.
  • GameStop - This is where my impulse purchases come from in the gaming realm. I'll pop in here and purchase one or two games randomly.
  • Best Buy - Televisions, games, consoles... I tend to get "bigger" purchases here. Bought a few 4K televisions here in the past year.
  • Newegg - Computer parts, monitors, and such end up being purchased here.

Groceries

  • Publix - An upscale kind of grocery store. They tend to have some of the nicer things that I enjoy.
  • Local Butchers - I buy all my meat from a butcher. I don't necessarily trust meat from grocery stores; worked in a few grocery stores in my life and don't trust the way they handle meat.
  • Harris Teether/Lowes - Both are kind of "franchise" stores like Publix that are middle-tier grocery stores. Both deliver to my house. I've used the delivery service a handful of times.
  • Amazon - Yep, once again, it rears its head. Amazon Pantry is awesome. I tend to buy household products from Amazon since they're cheaper.

I have a membership to BJ's but have only gone there three times for Bai5 coconut-based water. Outside of that, that and Costco seem to be counter-intuitive for my needs (seeing as it's just myself, my girlfriend, and a dog in the household - bulk food isn't something that has many purposes in my life). I find that I walk out with a lot of unnecessary things when I shop at Costco or BJ's. They have that whole "if you need one, buy five and it'll be fine" thing going for them. Both of their electronics areas are hit or miss; but, that's coming from someone who only buys electronics after weeks of research.

HEB whenever I can. It's Publix for Texas.

Other than that I mostly don't buy things because I'm 35 and my wife and I have nearly everything we could possibly need already. I did sink a little cash into a PS4 so I could spend some time with the chocobros.

Recently I've been shopping a lot on amazon, for videogames I either buy them from the Microsoft or PS Store. I usually buy my groceries at Walmart and farmers' market.

Grocery stores I usually go to Giant, Costco, or Target. Clothing far too many stores to name, sometimes I'll just waltz into a store I don't recognize just to see what kind of clothes they sell. For makeup I usually go for Sephora, but I'm starting to favor Ulta Beauty more so I'll probably start shopping there more than Sephora, but it's not like I'll give up on either, and if I need non-makeup beauty products I'll also check out Sally Beauty Supply. Games I go to Steam, but I rarely buy games anymore, and since Barnes and Nobles has been stepping up on their Yuri manga supply sometimes it's nice to just walk in and take a break at their cafe reading Citrus and the like.

Clothing: I usually buy in store from Aeropostale, TJ Maxx, Forever 21, Hot Topic, and Pink.
Sometimes I buy online from small shops.

Games: I do buy A LOT on steam, mostly from $0.99 to $10. There will be times where I will indulge on spending more though I do go to GameStop to buy discounted games.

Groceries: I buy from Smith's, a local grocery store (I think?) and sometimes from WalMart.

Mostly Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Goodwill these days. For groceries, I go to Fresh Market or Smith's, depending on the day; I try to avoid busy-ness.

Online its mostly amazon, with a few target.com thrown in when items are on sale and with gift cards given.

Only things offline I buy are food related, groceries I go to Kroger or Meijer depending on coupons. Walmart I get milk because it has been super cheap for almost a year, current average is $1.18 per gallon, and I buy 3 white and 1 chocolate per trip, at least once a week. Yes, I drink tons of milk. If I want meat I'll go to Jack's or LaLonde's, usually Jacks as chicken comes in 10 lb bags and it has been $1.59/lb, and the other is for very high expensive quality and rarer meats. If I start making more I'll go there more often. And when it is warmer, I'll go to the farmers market once in a while. It is closed in the winter.

If you're interested in cash back, use Ebates. They give you $10 just for signing up. I got a check of 15 dollars, so essentially all I got was $5 cash back, ha.

But anyways, I buy my groceries at Met or the local supermarket in Chinatown. Dirt cheap.

Sometimes its cheaper to shop locally than to go on amazon.
