Haikyuu has motivated me to be more physically active, positive and sportsmanship like. Also heard from a friend that "Welcome to the NHK" drives him to be more socially interactive and productive because he does not want to end up like the main character.

Like anything else, anime is definitely an equitable factor for motivation and/or inspiration.

Every anime motivates me to give up hope, because I'm already past the prime years where everything that shapes the rest of a life takes place.

I remember watching His and Her Circumstances when I was still at school. The main characters were top students and for some reason I wanted to improve my grades.
That motivation didn't last more than a day or two

Motivational?

The pet girl of Sakurasou

Nanami and Misaki alone give me inspiration.

Why? Because Misaki is like the get up and go, don't hold back kind of girl, but then when you see the story progress that's not always the case. Sure she might be one of the most cheerful and bright characters, but she struggles. What that taught me was that even the brightest of characters can go dim, and that crushes you on a personal level. That's why I hate to see people get sad, because it effects not just that person, but everyone around you. So be happy!

Nanami. Someone that doesn't give up, but knows just how hard it is. We all feel like life's not fair, that we try soo hard to work towards our dreams. Sometimes we can't take the criticism, the reality, but always pushing forward towards your dreams regardless of the outcome, we keep pushing forward.

Motivational? Of course, but I motivate myself most of the time

When I was 14 DBZ motivated me to take martial arts. Now I have a black belt in one style and am working on another, so it turned out better than expected.

Most sports anime are motivational.

Space Brothers is pretty inspirational.

Most of all though, Kaori from Your Lie in April just made me want to live my life to the fullest. Even with her condition, she tried her hardest to reach people with her music. I could go into this a lot more, but I'll leave it at that.

The .//Hack anime & games inspired me to start being more social, both in online gaming & in real life. It was a long slog, but I met my wife after a few years of trying. We've been married 3 years this coming July.

Uta Koi got me into reading classical Japanese literature.
