Steins;Gate changed my life.

It got me into anime but more importantly it acted as the catalyst that helped me break my addiction to porn. Okabe's determination to challenge the seemingly impossible motivated me to do the same.

Street Fighter II & Fatal Fury motivated me into doing martial arts.

Golden Boy inspired me to study more. I even had a little note pad just like he did.

Recently Sweetness Lighting inspired me to cook more for my daughter. I perfected the best wings recipe for kids.

Not really but in a way yes. I often get discouraged by the responsibilities I take on and a good show with help me: relieve stress, remind me of why I'm doing what I'm doing, and more often than I'd like it to distracted me from having my mind wonder to bad places.

Rurouni Kenshin was the first anime I watched when I was about 5 or 6 years old, I was so impressed I wanted to be a Samurai like Kenshin, I told my parents and they got me into taking Kendo lesson. It ignited my lifelong love for Kendo, it's been almost 20 years and I'm still practising until now. I used to do it competitively but when I started University I didn't compete anymore, I didn't have time and I wanted to focus on my studies. Sometimes I'm still helping at my Dojo to teach Kendo to children.

Recently Yuri!!! on Ice motivated me to take up ice skating again, I used to love to ice skate but I haven't skated since high school.

Awesome. You win the internet today, bro. The cooking is especially heart warming

I started karate as a kid because of the ninja turtles. Today I do Brazilian jujitsu

Your avatar reminds me: I have an app full of positive affirmations. One is "I have the power"

Thanks for the complement. Glad I could brighten up your day a little bit.

I'm not good at cooking, my wife does all the cooking. But Sweetness Lighting hit me good. A man needs to know how to cook. About once a week I get in the kitchen and try to whip something up. They're both awesome about it and eat everything even if I screw up. I tend to over season stuff but I'm getting better.

Sakurasou motivated me to just go for it, find a job and enjoy it! That motivation lasted 5 days.
Angel Beats however made me sign up to become a donor.

I would throw in Mob Psycho 100. I think one of the show's strongest moments was when mob made the decision to join the fitness club, instead of the stereotypical "do-nothing" club seen in soooo many anime. I fell in love with the show just from this one scene xD.

I'd say that Gurren Lagann and My Hero Academia are my two most inspirational anime.

Gurren Lagann motivated me to fight until the end for what I want, and I really feel identified with Deku's story in My Hero Academia, sometimes I feel like I don't have the necessary talent to become an animator, just like Deku with him wanting to be a superhero without having a quirk, but seeing him making the effort to be a great hero despite his situation inspires me to keep trying and really become what I want to be. That got so sappy but it's just how I feel

Honey and clover really motivated me especially the end of season one as I was in the same situation as the main character at the end of university
