2 months have gone by fast...damn
ihope the inauguration goes smoothly with no riots -cough- but my hopes are small
what do you think he will honestly do in his first 100 days?
and do you think race relations will get better?

do you think we will lose allies like Obama did?
or do you think we will gain some and some back

I know he is an asshole but sometimes you need someone harsh to get things straight,....a little bit at least

I can see us losing an ally in mexico, be iffy with china, nothing new, neutral with Russia -thank god- we already gained th ephillipines back
aren't some people calling for him to leave the UN? I think at this point we need to, the idea of I tin the beginning was good but the un has gone to shit and shouldn't be able to dictate so many countries

Embarrass you as a nation. Continue to get trolled and provoked by foreign dictators.

redokami wrote:and do you think race relations will get better?

Haha, what? No. Why would you possibly think that?

redokami wrote:do you think we will lose allies like Obama did?

Which "allies" did Obama lose? He spent a good portion of his time working to regain the trust of allies in the wake of the Bush administration.

As for Trump, if he actually follows through on any of his staggering ignorant ideas ( like running NATO as a protection racket ) or starting trade wars when he knows shit about global economics then yes. You will definitely lose allies and probably suffer some major hits to the economy as well.

The problem isn't that he's an asshole. The problem is he's an unapologetic self serving asshole that gets into Twitter fights with Cher.

The Philippines is headed up by a mass murdering sociopath.

As for Russia I still do not understand why you or anyone else thinks Russia should be rewarded for its morally reprehensible bullshit or its assault on the US political system. Especially given that they were already given a chance at a pass by the Obama administration. A move that the GOP criticized and specifically criticized Hillary for as she was an instrumental part of it. It led to about 3 years of improving mutual relations and then Putin fucked off and invaded Crimea. Which led to the sanctions that he so keenly wants his puppet-elect to lift because they're destroying the Russian economy. As intended.

You are praising Trump for moving to do the exact same thing Hillary already did ( and was criticized for doing by the same people now praising Trump for it ). Meanwhile the sour relations with Russia are Russia's fault. Its not on the US to reach across the aisle here. Especially not after the last time the US reached across the aisle to Putin he shit in your hand.

So why o why do you think Russia is in any way a positive?

Wait so when Obama makes the US friendly with Cuba that's bad but if Trump makes it friendly with Russia or the Philippines that's good?

FYI: 'King' is pretty much always a derogatory term for an American president who people (using the term) feel is overstepping his bounds.

i will be just waiting it out till America gets a better president till then i don't care.

  • First 100 Days: Nothing of real value; just a lot of kicking Democrats out of positions. (this is what he considers "draining the swamp" since Republicans are using him for their own desire at the moment).
  • Race Relations: Will continue to escalate on both sides.
  • Losing Allies: Yes, we'll probably lose more than during Bush or Obama's terms if Trump goes all nationalist (like his supporters want him to). Phillippines and Russia are not good allies to have, historically speaking.
  • United Nations: Some hardcore anti-globalists think that the UN is the "sign of coming times". Mind you, they've been around as long as the UN has been around and we've not yet seen any "global takeover" of the UN. They just have social expectations and norms to be part of the UN, nothing more.

As long as he revokes DACA, I'll be happy. Most of Obama's executive actions were absolute garbage. I'd like to see some progress made on defunding sanctuary cities. Either enforce the laws on the books or lose your federal funding. Let's see how big these mayors talk once they lose money that could have been spent on education, police and medical services (of course their salary won't suffer because amazingly, we can always find money for that).

I hope he invades Canada and builds re-education camps there for deranged liberals.

I'm sorry to break this to you but not one of the points you brought up was actually a positive for Trump... Obama largely repaired international relations and was called weak (Even though this is what diplomats are supposed to do). Obama condemned the mass murders going on in the philippines while Trump praised them ('http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/12/07/world/asia/rodrigo-duterte-philippines-drugs-killings.html'). Race relations have only spun out of whack largely during this election.

Poor drug dealers. Obama should have let them come here as refugees.

It not that they are good people who don't deserve punishment, it's the extrajudicial (sometimes brutal) killings with zero regard for human rights. Indonesia executes drug dealers as well, but they at least do it after a formal trial not vigilante style.

*Drug addicts* and odds are that someone who is in direct contact with you and your family has done drugs or will do drugs at some point in their life. Try justifying to your kids why the cousin everyone loves was shot dead in the streets last night because he was trying some MDMA.

"You see little Xxanthar, he was bad because he made a mistake, so he doesn't deserve to live anymore." *Looks up from hollow daze with a strange flat smile on his face*

It's not our country. They have their own laws to follow. It seems like most of the population is pretty happy with the results.
Why doesn't Obama tell the Saudis to stop giving people lashes for saying the wrong thing? Why don't he tell them to stop charging women who have been raped with adultery?

Or blame the Chinese for flooding the Philippines with massive amounts of drugs.

The Germans were also pretty happy with the results of a Nazi party takeover!

What is your point?

Your trying to us a logical fallacy to diminish the original point. The point is that the Philippines have a nationalistic psychopath who is using minor social issues to justify murder. Just because these things happen else were doesn't make this issue any less bad.
