Post Reply Does swearing bother you?
Posted 1/15/17
Only when I know the person I'm talking too doesn't care
For example I was at a store and the security guard checked my bag
I asked how he was and he said 'well ya know'
So I said 'same shit, different day?'
And he laughed and said yeah, he was an older man like late 50s

People who can't say a single sentence without a curseword bother me a lot. Especially when college professors talk like that. Its so unprofessional

Depends on the person, their mindset, the situation at hand. Vulgarity can be pure manipulation at times (or attempt thereof).

No, as long as it's used judgmentally. When used totally wrong, that's when it really bothers me. But for most situations it's nothing more than an expression enhancement.

If it's excessive then yes. If it's occasional then no.

It couldn't possibly bother me less than it currently does. There are worse and more vulgar things than swearing.

Fuck me, I am an Army Sergeant who's spent most of his adult life yelling obscenities at teenagers. Profanity is practically a native tongue to me and if you have an issue with it you can suck my fucking cock for all the difference it makes to me.

I may be the one that over swears but I am working on not swearing so much . I tend to swear when I am upset more .

Excessive swearing is quite annoying, but few words here and there don't hurt.

I said yes, but a little doesn't bother me. Excessive swearing makes people sound uneducated and low class to me.

In a casual setting and if it not too excessive, no.
