Over the top swearing does bother me a lot, like in Pulp Fiction (I hate that movie).

Yeah unless its in every sentence it doesn't bother me much. To me curse words are usually just filler in a sentence for the lack of a better word. I remember cursing around my friend until he told me, "my dad says people who curse a lot have a low vocabulary understanding. It makes sense too lol.

It kind of has been recently, I've been trying to cut down completely.

I swear occasionally but when you swear every 2 seconds, it bothers me a bit. Be creative, expand your vocabulary!

I usually watch anime first: subbed, then: dubbed. If the swearing is a part of the original (subbed version), I have no problem with it. If it's there to use as 'lip movement-filler' - THAT bothers me. The 'Attack on Titan2' translation bugged me, there was more swearing than there NEEDED to be, and seemed only 'swearing for the sake of swearing'. There were more details that could've been explained vs. having to swear for lip movement filler.

Fuck no. My dad spent 12 years in the US Navy. He's always had a sailor's mouth, and wasn't scared to use it when I was young.

My first job was a boat then a factory then forestry so I picked up the habit of swearing because I find people use words that they are exposed to more so every almost sentence had a swear in it at one point and I developed stuttering because I was talked over frequently so would be used to repeating myself I guess but now I have found I stutter whenever people tell me to stop swearing I do swear less but the stuttering also makes people complain I have found I have went back to the way I was before working gave me the confidence to speak to people and just don't tend to talk anymore unless I really know the person or have to.

No swearing doesn't bother me.

I tend to not swear as much in real life, as I don't know everyone around me; however, I do swear when I'm on discord, mic chats with friends or 18+ discord channels. It doesn't bother me but my opinion doesn't go with everyone else so I must respect that.
