Does that make Quebec our Texas?

I have an uncle that became homeless because he didn't want to work then managed to get welfare and lost it by getting caught spending his welfare money on drugs. He ended up dying because he took too many drugs and alcohol and died from the combo, idiot.
However, that's not what I said. Read it as someone drinking poison so that they can be admitted to the hospital.

You do, and so does Quebec.

See my point?

..I can't even begin to understand this. As someone who was born disabled, and would give EVERYTHING to be able to see and move normally, it just disgusts me to my very core that people would actually do this to themselves, and are expected to be treated normally on top of that?! Damn, I am so upset right now I can't think straight.

Well then you can use the money you're saving from no longer having to buy food or toilet paper to save up for an upgrade.
