That involves going to Quebec and I have to learn French. I don't want to learn French.

Welfare is not what made them want to physically disable themselves. That is like saying I want to be homeless so I can be on welfare.

I don't know about any other state, but in California (or Los Angeles County, at least) you can't be on welfare if you don't have an address... Weird, eh? The homeless are as needy as they come, and they can't get welfare.

It's a strange condition. Imagine waking up one day and your hand is totally different. Not your own hand at all, and everybody else thinks your crazy. Messed up. I think even an imposter hand is better than no hand though...

Things change. Just because your limb doesn't look the way you remember it or the way you want it, doesn't mean you should cut it off. If letting someone do it and then claim disability from it is a better solution than treating the insanity that is causing it, then this world has officially gone back to drilling holes in heads to get the evil spirits out that are causing migraines...

They would get upset and then a fight would commence. Then they would regret what they would done and then go get high.

Do you have to prove that you live there?

I don't know the reasoning behind it. It makes no sense to me. The homeless are freakin' homeless! Yet, they can't get welfare. I think all that they get are referrals to homeless shelters, which are all run by religious non-profits. Nothing wrong with religious non-profits, but most homeless people don't want to be forced to go to church to get help.

There isn't a government run agency that deals with homelessness. It's all privately run religion based missions (nice people, with big hearts, doing the best that they can, but....).
