Episode 1

Previously, some dirt was dug up about Ren's past and how he became a part of the Kaidou family, all while being asked to move to Switzerland with his mother, which Ren was dead set against doing. So after some soul searching, as well as bringing Tanuki back to the house when he was ready to give him back to the old man, Ren is letting Haru know that he's staying in Japan no matter what. That was nice way to get back into the thick of things as Haru and Ren have a relationship that just won't be broken no matter what life throws their way.

While it was mostly serious stuff in this episode, there were plenty of funny moments to be had, and this is one of them:

This thread is awfully bare...

So many guys. Three female as supporting characters. PLUS my absolute favorite VA, Mitsuki Saiga - couldn't ask for more!!

So, the move to Switzerland was dangling at the end of last season. Still hasn't been resolved. IMO once Haru lets go of the "brother" moniker, it will allow Ren to be so much more. That title is holding them both back. Haru can be so dense.

That couch scene, damn. **Kae on the sidelines **

The couch scene was pretty risque. Couldn't believe that they didn't bring it up their room (30 seconds away).

Episode 2

Aki sure is pissed off with the way Haruko wasn't there for Haru when he was recovering from that nasty accident. But in the end, Ren made up his mind and Haruko needed to get back to Switzerland to continue her work. Relationships continue to develop here as Ren continues to choose Haru over the world or whatever awaits him. That sure was one heck of a birthday party there with Kiyoka giving Haru a girl's seifuku, while wishes were written on the tree as Haru's birthday happens to fall on Tanabata.

And Haru surely is an idiot taking advantage of Ren like this:

Haru's developed a new fetish... Ren's range of attire will only expand from here. I almost forgot how lacking Ren is in common sense. Even the Health Doctor couldn't keep his cool.

You’d think with all the schooling by Haruko’s super-intel colleagues that Ren would have a clue on basic structures… But his lack of worldly knowledge does make it humorous. And gotta love Kiyoka for pushing a new fetish!

Episode 3

Ren's growth continues as he takes on a part-time job during the summer being the clean-up guy for his old man's apartment complex, and boy is that guy's apartment smelly as hell. As if the mountains of trash wasn't bad enough to the point where he couldn't even open the window, there was a dead dog's corpse buried under all that junk. So while things are at least going well for Ren, all of the sudden somebody who calls himself Natsu comes in to take Ren somewhere. It's great to see Ren becoming more responsible than ever, but now comes the question as to how he would fare living by himself when he grows up as there's plenty of concern, and that apartment he is cleaning up is a preview of things to come.

I can't imagine anybody living in a place like this, but that guy sure made a mess of things.

New character introduced - same name, same build as Haru, and a host. (Could there really be so many Haru-clones roaming around out there, as Haru assures Iku? I'd like to know.) Loving this new twist, though. Other-Natsu needs to *keep his hands to himself*.

Also fell for Haru's poetic thoughts:
I don’t actually want to be nice…
No, I want to be nice, but I also want to be cold to him…
I don’t want to make him cry, but I do…
I don’t want to hurt him, but I do…

Preview for next week is stuck in the head. Red -- Ren's blush. Red -- Haru's impending meltdown.
Is it Thursday yet?

Bugs, beetles, butterflies, exploding horseshoe crabs, jellyfish, flamingos... The backgrounds are so bizarre.

Episode 4

So that guy is Haru's cousin Natsuo Shiba, and he has quite a tenuous relationship with Uncle Kaidou. His apartment is another mess that Ren cleans up, but a combination of problems led to some tension between Ren and Haru. First, Natsu tells Ren to keep his visit a secret, and then Natsu pays Ren way too much for the job and when Haru finds out about the money, that leads to some pretty nasty things between them. If Ren could only tell Haru about Natsu would things have been all and well, but Natsu isn't exactly in the mood to talk with Haru. Natsu seems to be a nice guy, but when it comes to family, it's another story entirely seeing that he had an ugly breakup recently.

No mess is too big for Ren to clean, as long as there is no dead dog.
