Synopsis

Seventeen-year-old Mugi Awaya and Hanabi Yasuraoka appear to be the ideal couple. They are both pretty popular, and they seem to suit each other well. However, outsiders don't know of the secret they share. Both Mugi and Hanabi have hopeless crushes on someone else, and they are only dating each other to soothe their loneliness. Mugi is in love with Akane Minagawa, a young teacher who used to be his home tutor. Hanabi is also in love with a teacher, a young man who has been a family friend since she was little. In each other, they find a place where they can grieve for the ones they cannot have, and they share physical intimacy driven by loneliness. Will things stay like this for them forever?

It's arty drama with a bunch of still frames.

Character dynamics make it worth a watch.

Soooo. This is new. Apparently Amazon is indeed making it available here in the US, but as part of a new subscription "Anime Strike" channel--which may or may not be only available to people who are also Prime members. I haven't looked at the details so I'm not completely sure.

I've signed up for the trial so I can see what else they have there... It's $4.99 a month after free trial.

That's not bad actually. I wonder if it works internationally.

Sign...I'll wait until after this show's done to watch it via trial. The price of 4.99 isn't that bad and I'll probablity sign up for it eventually once I'm done watching everything I'm behind on Netflix.

Does research, Amazon Strike is only available to prime members as it first pay subscription based channel....

Wait so you need prime first to get it when paying...dafuq....that can't be right, I can't see any subs being generated with a system like that if I am reading this correctly?

Proof, They get some subs because of the series they're holding hostage like The Great Passage, Scum's wish, Nanoha, and Onihei

What a ripoff. (unless you really want to use the Prime membership)

That being said, I liked the first episode. A mature type of seinen that I found surprisingly realistic so far. I look forward to more of this every week and it'll pretty much be a complete adaptation (given that the manga is ending)

I have Prime but I'm not going to pay on top of that. *sigh* I guess I'll watch it when I go back to Japan this summer.

That's ridiculous, why would anyone want to pay on top of that unless you're interested in Prime? Welp* I guess Amazon is now officially a place where simulcast will die.... (I'm over exaggerating.)

I guess that too bad for me since I already used a free one-month trial of Amazon last year....
