This has been going on for a few days now. I have several animes in my queue, and sometimes I like to rewatch them. But lately, when I try to do that, I get a "Playback Interrupted. Sorry, the app can't continue playing your video because of an unexpected error. Please check your connection". This only happens with anime that I've watched before. Now, I CAN watch NEW episodes of my queued anime. But I can't watch old episodes. What gives?

BTW, I'm a premium member.

I'm no moderator or anything, but two questions to ask:
What device does this happen on? Like PC/Mobile/etcetc
What browser are you using?

The browser can affect playback interruption, I had similar problems, I had to remove some of my browser addons and I sometimes had to use Firefox for it to work.

Hi, Proxgirl. I'm using a Roku for streaming onto my TV. Everything's been fine for months, and now this.

Just wanted to update - I unplugged my Roku and plugged it back in again - and NOW my queue is completely gone, and when I try to play an anime, Crunchyroll starts to play it, then bounces me back to the home screen.

CRUNCHYROLL, WHAT THE HELL'S GOING ON????

Just for something to try, go here: /acct/?action=devices and deactivate your roku, then start the CR channel, and before doing anything else, press the asterisk/star button, go to settings, and select Log in, either manually enter your id and password or (easier) read the new code to use in conjunction with the /activate link.

Uh none of made any sense whatsoever, asharka. The heck does "read the new code to use in conjunction with the /activate link" mean?
And do you want to explain to me why I have to do all that for a SERVICE I'M PAYING FOR??????

You have to log in so that the Roku knows you have an account to link to. Sometimes it can forget... when it loses track you have to start over.

Going to the login screen from the popup window that you get when you press the splat/star/asterisk button will display a code that you can enter on the website using your computer keyboard instead of typing out your login and password with the up/down/left/right OK buttons one painful character at a time on the Roku. This is a link to the activate page on the website where you would enter the code that appears on the screen of your TV: /activate

Okay, here's what I did: I reset my Roku to factory settings. Then I reactivated my Amazon account. It's playing fine. Then I reactivated my Crunchyroll account, using the code word given to me on my TV screen. I am now connected, and I have my anime queue back.

BUT - I'm still getting the "playback interrupted" message whenever I try to play an anime!

Clearly this is a Crunchyroll error. PLEASE CRUNCHYROLL FIX THIS OR I'LL CANCEL MY PREMIUM ACCOUNT! Why should I pay for something I can't watch???????

EDITED TO ADD: I CAN watch new episodes of anime- the ones marked with the little crown - but I can't watch any episodes I've already seen. For instance, I can't re-watch HunterxHunter or Shiro Bako at all. Again, what's going on?
