Synopsis

Green City Kazamatsuri is a city built on the ideal of a harmonious relationship between civilization and environment.. However, the peaceful Kazamatsuri will soon be faced with its annual commotion, the Harvest Festa at the turn of the year. It's an event that is much like a massive school festival, and Tennoji Kotaro decides to head out to research topics for his articles. Episode 14

So after everything that happened to end the first season, things are being retold through Koutarou's dreams, and he keeps on trying to approach Kagari only to be killed every time. Then with three cups of coffee, he finally succeeds. That was weird to say the least, and I would have to think that this is a transitioning period given how everything went to hell previously. It will be interesting to see what comes of this.

Episode 14

We start of with Kotarou reliving his past lives in his dreams as each time he tries to get closer to Kagari he gets killed by her. The good thing about his dreams is that we get to see that he even married Kotori in one of life's and some girl. We even get to see that he hooks up with Akane and twin Lucia's. Still he tries to close the gap between himself and Kagari until finally he wins her over with 3 cups of coffee.

They did a decent job showing the endings from the core heroines but I can't help but think that many of the people who are watching this who never read the novel would be confused as hell.

You should do yourself a favor and read the novel before continuing this anime. I know its a 40-60 hour game but its damned worth it, especially if you found something redeeming in the first season of the show enough to want to watch the 2nd. There are so many things that they just ignored with the anime due to time constraints etc. Pretty sure rewrite plus is slated to come out some time this year on steam too as an English localization.

They did. Episode 12, or 13 if I recall correctly, they noted that she saved him by embedding a piece of the key's ribbon in him. Given the key is basically the Earth and the way it was fused to him, this is extremely similar to how it was described monsters get brought into the world.

Well that's good. its kind of a huge plot point that if left out would make Terra completely meaningless.

Rewrite 2 EP 14 “Three Cups of Coffee”

I am steadfast in saying that was an excellent EP . Showed a lot of the possible routes that could happen . The aftetrmath on Kotarpo's dreams and the succesive failures approaching Kagari who was killed by Shizuru ? in one segment Finally Kotarou gets closer and brings coffe . The first cup wasnt so good But then the nextime the coffee is better and Kagari pulls him onto the mysterious board w and takes a tear and holls it ip tp the moon!

Shizuru / Kotarou ( In a Rewrite ) The name on the Bike that is neat!

Kagari and the frecof / and everybody thought it was a running gag but turned out to be important / Well played!

That was a nice moment

ep 14 makes a lot more sense if you re-watch the first two minutes or so of episode 1

Episode 15

So after making sense of everything, Kotarou finally realizes the one path he must take, and that is to protect Kagari and doing it with all of his friends he made through the Occult Club. That was quite a romantic scene there with the dancing in the moonlight and everything, but in the end he sees Kashima as the root of all evil and as such, it's pretty obvious what he needs to do. Very nice to see all the girls back again.

Episode 15

Kotarou decides to help out Kagari in her research and in so learns of the different possibilities. Seeing that Kagari has become tired out from all her research he takes her out to enjoy some time and we get to see a nice dance between the two. After they finish their dance they get attacked by a monster and Kotarou has to fight it off but more show up. He then realizes what he has to do and that is to protect Kagari something he didn't do in each timeline. In order to do so he will need help since he can't do it alone so he summons everyone from the Occult Club and Yoshino and his gang to help out. It was nice to see the reunion between Kotarou and Kotori that I was expecting him to hug her but no go. still nice episode
