First group's long-haired guy.... yeeeeeeeeesss <3

. . . . . . . . Is there like, a database of seiyuu in idol shows? There are a few of these that I know have been in multiple other idol shows (e.g. Tetsuya Kakihara is in Tsukiuta and B Project, at least). I know there's ANN but ANN only tracks things that have an anime (e.g. this wouldn't have been listed until now, Marginal #4 has been going since 2013 and the anime only just started, the female side of Tsukiuta is not in an anime yet). Is MAL the same?

It does, if you care about this...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demography_of_Japan

Japanese birth and death rates since 1950. The drop in 1966 was due to it being a "hinoe uma" year which is viewed as a bad omen by the Japanese Zodiac.

...as apparently Japanese females are being turned off to IRL relationships, as the men are likewise, from result of (unrealistic) sexualized anime. People who watch anime have hard time separating expectations. Even anime about it the concept.

Females are bigger problem the males, because they actually make the babies. That is hard. But if they get turned off to child bearing; usually sighting "work interference" as an excuse, it becomes the primary source of the problem. I have seen it myself when been to Japan several times last decade.

Yes, this sounds sexists... Nevertheless, when it comes to the mathematics of the matter, the simple truth is less babies means lower (native) population. So, if that is considered to be "bad thing"; the rate of decline the issue here, then yes, "Yaoi" (or whatever likewise) is "bad". But more from scientific view, that is.

When combined with all the other problems in Japan, it provides for easy-out. So, although absolute proof of this theory is tenuous at best, ye should care (if Japanese, especially) anyways, in either case.

Why? Less young people ==smaller anime market=less anime . Or none at all. If trends continue, Japanese population projected to go down by half or more by end of century.

And we like Japanese people here, right? Hopefully so......

What a foolish argument. It takes two to make a baby. There is a lot more going on behind Japanese people's population decline to simply blame it on anime. Problems and decisions get made only then does anime take up people's time.

I'm not a gamer so I'm not familiar with otome games however I can figure out the target audience from the pretty boys shown so far. I don't know if it's something I'll watch. I was just curious about the title.

Meh, no worries. Simply explaining my otherwise random reasoning to someone who asked nicely. But that can be true for everything sexualized, though not just Yaoi(like).

And, me is /gulityascharged as well; in terms of what I implied above, so speaking from experience. But I suppose I have "social problems" as well, so no matter.

Yeah somehow, I'm actually not at all interested in this show, even though Shouta Aoi is one of the singers.

There are no music shows this season, but four next season: a Cinderella Girls spinoff, [email protected] Side M, TsukiPro, and this "no, we're not idols, we're hArDcORE Rockerzz is2g". but like... no. No thanks. Magi4 and StarMyu s2 just won the music show game, everyone else can go home.

- Magi4
- StarMyu (boh seasons) tied with the first Love Live (both seasons)
- TsukiAni

I have faith that TsukiPro will be in there, but this? Not so much.
....... can we have another season of mg4 though please?

Edit: Just watched the trailer......

w h a t w a s t h a t . . . . . ....?

No, seriously... I have never seen animation like that before, except in like, old flash things. That... that arm... what?

Also, it looks like they're desperately trying to look like GoHands. Which is funny, because GoHands' stuff doesn't even look good anymore (praying that K7S somehow ends up looking more like season 1). Something about the face style, the hair shading... they're definitely after ~ that HOMRA cool ~

They don't quite make it.

Well, that was pretty underwhelming. I'm not really interested in this show, but I'll give it a look at the very least.

And Sentai has just picked up this show. It will be headed to HIDIVE everywhere that Sentai serves. This is one of six idol shows in what has become a season full of them.
