Is there anybody out there who has read some sort of philosopher that you found particularly invigorating? Personally, I've always had a love for Daniel Dennett. (You can attack this from whatever angle you'd like emotional, stance, genius. Up to you.)

Modern would be Alan Watts cause he's entertaining in his very charismatic delivery style.

One I've been meaning to explore would be Zhuangzi I heard "his" (I say "his" cause I doubt he actually wrote those works) writings are pretty entertaining and somewhere down my alley of interests.
