So what do you think of this video? (How bees behave when they don't accept the new queen bee)

Bee's aren't aggressive if you don't piss em off, I remember when I was in primary school I was writing in my book and a bee landed on my hand, stayed there for ages, i kept writing, neither it nor me cared, just chilled. Its wasps you don't want to mess with, they will fuck your day up

So wasps are rednecks?

honey bees have been domesticated to some degree so they don't see humans as a threat most of the time compared for example wild bees.while wasps and most other bee relatives i think for the most as long as you leave them alone they won't attack though their are some that probably attack with almost no provocation but im pretty sure the ones that are that aggressive are relatively rare.

It depends on the wasp. Hornets and Yellow Jackets are aggressive if you go near or disturb their hives--a can of hair spray and a lighter takes care of them, though. Mud Daubers are pretty docile; they can sting, but they usually don't.

It's a queen bee that did not spawn that bee colony. Those bees were spawned by a deceased queen bee. He tried to introduce a new queen bee (apparently, that works sometimes, but sometimes not (as in this case, it didn't).)

Queen bees are THE ONLY bees that lays eggs that produce bees. None of those thousands of bees that you saw can lay eggs. So, without a queen bee, that bee colony will die off. By introducing a new queen bee (if the bees accept her), the beekeeper can keep the bee hive going, and can keep producing honey.

That was what the whole idea of that video was about. It was about introducing a new queen bee, to keep the hive going, to keep producing honey.

That pretty much summarizes my feelings. Quite a scary proposition when something like that happens, and it just ain't pretty when there's extreme distrust with the queen bee in the hive. It goes to show how important her role is in all this.

Well the queen bee kind of fails in the beginning, I am using it as an analogy, maybe it is over reacting to trivial things, over time people get tired of the queen bee since it is not from their colony and the queen bee might produce good eggs but no one cares because what good use is an egg that cannot do work, no one bothers to nourish it anyway, if they are not breaking the egg, or it is too hard to break, it is already a plus.
By all means I want you guys to tell me what this queen bee should do to fit in.

Lastly I hate bees, if I see a bee in sight I stay a km from it, if I see a nest I will probably faint
