Hi, Im from Norway. There are animes youve got on this site that I cant watch because of my region, which is really annoying when I pay to watch from this site and all......
Couldnt watch blue exorcist s2 or love live sunshine for instance.. is there a reason for this? Why cant I watch them?? Do I have to pay more? Im a student, I dont have money xD

As fredreload previously stated, it is likely due to licensing restrictions in that Crunchyroll doesn't currently have the rights from the copyright owner(s) to stream the specified anime in your country. This doesn't mean it will never happen, just not currently. Unfortunately, I'd recommend looking for another provider which does have the permission to stream the anime in your specific country or purchase the series outright.

PS: Not a mod, just what I've picked up through my anime journeys.

If a show is missing for you on Crunchyroll it usually means that another company has acquired the rights.
For example, Daisuki has the license to stream the second season of Blue Exorcist in your region.

Love Live Sunshine was licensed here in the US by Funimation. (CR doesn't have it for the US or Canada, either). That was in the days before the Funimation/CR partnership, however, so there is a good chance it will eventually get moved over to CR by Funimation, and could very well include Norway at that time.

I'm from Denmark i have the same isssue, here's my solution: unsubbing, i did so earlier today, and i will not be resubbing.

I refuse to pay to receive a worse service than other customers on the same plan simply becuase of geography, no matter the reason.

i do not consider this unreasonable, i consider the way licensing works to be the unreasonable situation.

i understand that this isn't entirely CR's fault, but it still leaves me with 3 choices:
1: maintain sub, be unhappy with receviing shit service (as of today i cancelled my sub here)
2: sub to all the things, so i can watch all the anime i want. (not bloody happening)
3: watch for free at less quality on less legal sites, but without sour taste in mouth, (sucks, but until such a time as i can sub one place and have all my anime needs covered there, it will be the one i go for)

---

TL;DR
I am tired of being screwed over any time i want to do the right thing and pay for watching shows i like, so now i'll stop paying until such a time as a decent option becomes available.

I hope you are aware that the regional restrictions are not something we came up with, but has grown as a system ever since the international distribution of movies has become a thing, well over 100 years ago. Any internationally active streaming service would pretty much prefer to be able to offer the content to all of its customers, and all of them are working hard to make it work for them.

By withdrawing support from the legal streaming services, you weaken their position in the talks with their content partners. Unsubscribing is basically your worst possible choice, if you want your local offerings to increase.

Even in the US we don't have the option to subscribe to just one place to see "everything". We need multiple subs at a minimum to these three services (this season):

CR (yearly sub amounts to $6 monthly)
Amazon ($99 per year for Prime +$5 monthly for Anime Strike channel)
Netflix has been interfering lately by grabbing some select series, and waiting for the season to end to air them.
Plus watching for the occasional show on Daisuki.net either either with commercials or paying a sub for "less" commercials plus about 6 catalogs.

If we also wanted dubs, then we also would have to additionally subscribe to Funimation.

There are also alternate subscriptions for some shows in Hulu ($13 for no commercials) or Viz if you want a few shows acquired there.

And Anime Network, if you want some older series.

So a simple solution for "all the things" isn't going to present itself to you and to expect that is not accepting reality, that capitalism has fragmented the market.

You couldn't see everything on both HBO and Showtime (legally) without maintaining separate subs to both of those, so why do you expect that with anime which is supplied by many independent sources who are all trying to sell their rights to the highest bidder?

I get it that you are salty because you are getting less from any one service, and that many of those other services are not available to you. You need to calculate the per-episode cost for the shows you do see and make your decision on that though, not what you can't see.

This is not to rub salt in your wounds, but simply to point out that your expectations are literally never going to be met to have an all-in-one legal service, just as they aren't that way here either... Your choice to pirate or not is up to your own conscience.

oh i know the licensing regions are old AF... but i am still getting less (or different) for my money than say an american customer, and no matter the reason, i don't care for that.

I was looking forward to granblue, only to find i cannot watch it here... not the first anime i had to find elsewhere either.

so far there are two shows this season i want to watch that also work here and one i cannot.
33% of the anime that i'm even remotely interested in this season being unavailable to me because i happen to live in northern europe? sorry but then i don't feel spending my money is justified anymore.

Originally i was looking forard to two shows, tanya the evil nd granblue, but dragon maid is so absurd it's funny to watch in its own right.
i added a couple other shows to the queue in the hopes they'd be worht watching but the ones i have checked out disappointed.

I think Granblue Fantasy is available legally and for free on Daisuki over in Denmark. It's actually a case in which you will not have to buy a second subscription to watch it.

i am having a somewhat similar situation. i am rewatching the monogatari series; i was able to watch bake- and nise- just fine on my ps4 cr app, however the monogatari series: second season was not available, which i found strange because it used to be available when it first aired. then i happened to check the cr app on my phone and there it was, all the episodes including hanamonogatari were there waiting to be watched. Is there a reason for this, is it a licensing issue or could it be a technical issue?

Probably a mature setting left at the default:
