I study geography. Really like it so far, but there are a few parts I'm not that much interested in i.e. economy. But in contrast, I'm even more interested in the natural scientifc part, but one goes with the other so I deal with it.
My student life so far is okay I guess. I have a few friends in university I can hang out with so that's cool. And I today I got the topic I wanted for my next term paper which is really nice.

My student days are done for now until I go to graduate school next year.
I double majored in anthropology and environmental studies. Also got a minor in physics. I'm hoping to become an environmental lawyer but who knows how that will pan out.

Mechanical Engineering in College, with a business minor

And it's pretty good right now. I worked full jobs for summer and the last semester, so readjusting to a school time schedule is weird.
Part time job on campus as a tutor, which is nice.
Pretty chill past that.

Because I'm from Chile I study English Pedagogy at University.
But to be honest the English taught here is quite basic and simple (that's why i'm here lol) .
Nothing compared with the English spoken by you all guys. there is such a variety
of expressions and verbs you use on a daily basis whereas here as students barely learn all the english tenses as it's the same for school's students.

So far I found my career very dissappointing, it gives special emphasis on pedagogy rather than the language itself.
so I have to waste time studying things as "administración educacional" linguistics, literature, Análisis contrastivo, Thesis (that one demands from you a looooot of valuable time for studying English) and the like. Actually we have only 2 courses related with English -_-.

I'm curious though... does English pedagogy exist as a career on your country? or maybe Spanish teachers. It may sound kind of silly question but I don't know how things works there.
