on 0 you can go up to 20-30 miles.
only for newer cars though past 2010

I have a 2015 Jetta basic, one time I was driving across florida & ran on empty this happened to me & I started freaking out but its okay you have 30 miles still on 0.

I have never actually run out of gas before, but a few times I have run out of "bars" on my fuel tank gauge. Usually I try to get gas when I'm 5 bars or less. (Usually that's about 8-9 gallons used when it's at 5 bars. I have a 13.2 gallon tank.) The most I've ever had to put in was almost 12 gallons. I know you still have gas when there's "0 bars left" but the last thing I ever want to happen is run out of gas in the middle of nowhere!

What do you drive that has a 13.2 gallon tank? My 350z has a 20 gallon tank.

most compact cars have 13.2 gallon tank

corolla, civic mazda 3, sentra, etc..

for 2017 the MPG dropped due to new EPA changes.. but some sites still use the old MPG ratings

2016 compact car models listed will list around 29-30 /39-41 mpg

2017 it's down to around 27-29 / 37-38

I'm at 20-26 mpg but I have a heavy foot so I know I'm getting like 18 mpg lol it also doesn't help I have to run on premium only.

according to the owner manual-- the first 600 miles is important

the MPG i got now is not really accurate but i'm getting around 30 MPG atm.

Mazda cars are fun to drive! i'm thinking of selling the current one around December (i hope i can get $18600 for it from a private seller then i can put that money toward a 2017 Mazda 3 Touring 2.5 L :)

I thought about once I get near Empy, Pointer right by the E or on it, I'll start the Ford Ranger 1999 and just let it sit till it finally run out of gas.. so that way I can get an idea when best time to get gas..

Than I'll get Can of Gas out of the Shed and pour some in the Gas Tank, and than drive to Gas Station.
