Technically that isn't illegal. She stated a thought she had.

Now, if she said "we should do this" or "I'm going to do this" or "it would be great if someone did this" that would actually be illegal and she would be arrested.

It's uncalled for but free speech.

Madonna has been a thought crime since she started acting. Why even give her the air to breathe?

Did she forget she wouldn't even get close to the White House w/o being shot or tackled by Secret Service?

Since it's hyperbole, it's protected speech. However, the entirety of her rant was fighting words and is not protected. The government doesn't always bother to press charges (rarely bothers, even), but they could if they wanted to (probably resulting in a small fine).

To steal a joke I heard on tv:

"Why is everything about blowing with Madonna ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)"

Sorry, that was inappropriate :/

No it's not free speech it's a threat.

You can't say you are not okay with Trump making sexual assault remarks, feel threaten then turn around and say "it is just hybole"

And she said it in general, whereas if she said "I've thought about blowing up this plane" while in an airport, she could be prosecuted by security, even if it was just a thought.

But then, as we saw from the rallies, Trump and his supporters aren't quite up on their fifth-grade-Social-Studies knowledge of the First Amendment, and the particular legal distinctions behind "We should ARREST her for saying bad things about him, because bad!...Is there something illegal she said about him we can arrest her for, and put her in jail, 'n stuff?"

It's nice to see all the protesters that were arrested have been charged with felony rioting.

...that wasn't saying bad things about trump...that was talking about blowing up the white house,..if this was during Obama everyone would be up in arms about it and she would be rrrrrracist and immediantly shutdown
edit: idc who is in the whitehouse atm when its said, it shouldn't be said and with everything that is going on right now it should be taken as a threat imo
