After just watching on of my favourite anime I was taken back to the crazy stunts we played as kids and took for granted.
Was there any that you are amazed that you survived?

I grew up in a small South East Asian town. Things on this list happened when I was 14 and below.

-Being an 8 year old who went around town (and sometimes other towns) in rollerblades.
-Walking around areas where packs of rabid dogs occasionally chase people off.
-Going to bars at age 13 with "friends".
-Riding around motorcycles with other young teenagers at night after drinking. Once, a guy I knew put his tongue to the back of a moving truck. A few of them are dead now, one lost an eye, and one is still suffering from traumatic brain injury.
-Walking past midnight in some really shade neighborhoods where people sometimes throw rocks and fireworks at passerbys for no reason.
-Had a shotgun pulled out on us when some dickhead (that we sorta knew) was looking for his girlfriend in a party I went to.
-A group of kids (small children around 10, I'd guess) puledl out a butterfly knife on me and almost mugged me because they thought I was from out of town.
-Got into a large brawl where kids would throw rocks or try to hit you in the head with it. Some dumb shit between two schools.
-Gulped a whole large coffee mug of vodka in 1 go when I was 14. I couldn't touch alcohol for a few years after that. I felt physically ill just after a sip.
-Went to school with a hangover at 12.

Looking back, I'm surprised I reached this age without addiction problems, long-term psychological issues (I think? lol), or permanent disability from potential accidents back then. I think even among young stupid kids, the things I've done were incredibly stupid.

The only thing I can recall is jumping down the stairs for whatever reason. I don't get my mindset, I most likely wanted to see if I could fly. But I'm still here, whether that's a blessing or a curse.

I grew up in the countryside so a bunch of my childhood dangerous moments were when I ran into animals in the woods. Coyotes, bears, moose, etc. Even managed to make it through a cow stampede while drunk stumbling in the middle of the night. Plus we used to do stupid shit like light dead tree limbs on fire, whack them against trees, and attempt to make the burning end of the limb that broke off hit each other. Those ends always flew fast, hard, and very accurately. Numerous dumb moments like that.

Even have a friend who survived a chainsaw to the face.

Only way to have fun as a kid. Do something dangerous, because when ur an adult all you consider in life are the risks and repercussions of doing so.

That's why kids should be wild and free, to an extent of course, but you get the meaning. Be adventurous not for the results, but for the memories.

Scaling bridges that would have a fall to your death, climbing marine poles so high that the poll itself swayed back and forth in the air. Walking on ice. Etc etc.

I can keep going, but there was just soo much crazy shit that we have done. It's almost funny

I liked to jump from high places. There was one time when I was maybe 2 or 3, my parents were in the backyard barbequing and I was alone on the top(3rd) floor. I strolled out on the balcony, climbed over the railing and jumped off. Luckily my dad was right under the balcony in the backyard.

And when I first tried to learn backflips. Landed right on the side of my neck sometimes. Didn't even have any safety measures, just thought "I should learn this" and then found the first high-ish spot I could see and jumped.

From what I've been told I made a bid for my freedom before I could walk when I'd be crawling out the front door. When I was 2 and sis 3 we decided to run away from the baby sitter. We got out walked up the street and were about to cross the road before the babysitter pounced on his. When I was around 7 I almost drowned when my float went out too far at sea. Some guy came and hauled me out when I started bawling. My friends and siblings got mad because I lost the brand new float. Previous to that I took off in a paddle boat on my own when I was 4. I got hauled out of that one too. We went exploring the ruins of a broken down house once. Then there was the farm raid and having to get out of the field with the stampeding bison. I accidentally pushed the handbrake on our school minibus and the bus started to drive off with just me at the wheel, aged 9. The poor driver had to run and hop in to slam on the brakes. Then there were the times we took off on an adventure hitch hiking on quarry trucks to get where we wanted to go.

We were tame compared to our parents' generation. They were playing tightrope balancing off the rails of a ship sailing the Atlantic. Uncle would go swim in the dam and climb up coconut trees and electric poles. One day he slid down a coconut tree and friction burned his entire front skin off. Since he was visiting family in the countryside they sent him on home back to the city immediately. By the time uncle hit 21 he'd been in an accident with his buddies who liked to party, drink and drive. He almost lost his arm. One day uncle missed a party. All of his friends died. They drove off a cliff and were not found until 3 days later, long dead.

I was always outside climbing trees and playing with the neighborhood kids. I lived next to an elementary school and one time they had construction so we could get on the roof. I was on the roof minding my own shenanigans when my friend got out his paintball gun and decided it would be fun to shoot at me while I was up on the roof. Luckily none of it hit.

Most of the dangerous things I did was on my bike I seemed to not care if I ran into a brick wall or off a cliff. I ended up smashing my face against the cement one time after I closed my eyes going off a cliff. I also had to get stitches because my friend thought it would be fun to take a tree branch and shove it in my face.

After a massive snow fall, I dug a snow tunnel. I could have been buried alive in my back yard.... I showed it to my mom and she broke it... I was sad at first, but she turned it into a game. Jumping into the snow to make stars, throwing snow at each other, and other fun stuff.

It was only four feet of snow, but I was small, so you know, a snow tunnel could have been bad for me.

By refusing to pretend we are made out of glass. The human body is a marvellous feat of evolution. I mean for fucks sake our ancestors survived sabre tooth tigers, hunting motherfucking mammoths , genocidal kings and emperors, plagues straight out of doomsday theories, and wars upon wars upon wars upon wars. And we're still alive and seven and half billion strong you fucktards . All you useless overprotective hen types need to calm the fuck down and stop acting like your offspring isn't the top of the fucking food chain.

When I was a kid, my older brother taught my younger sister and I how to be "ninjas", which basically meant jumping off of trees and fighting each other with butter knives :/

When I was a kid I loved jumping off stuff and doing flips. I would do flips off bridges into rivers. Jump off really high hills. I'm surprised I didn't kill myself.

Ugh not really, I guess I pushed a couch through some glass with my cousin when I was young, among other things.
