I don't see why its weird. I thought we all knew that Walmart's ambition was to expand until the day they could sell anything.

The thing with megacorporations like Wal-Mart and McDonald's and stuff is that they don't need to depend on their "typical customers". They're ubiquitous to the point of being borderline unavoidable and their prices are so cheap that, even if you may not like it, you and just about everyone else will buy something at Wal-Mart. Honestly, at this point there's very little risk for them entering just about any market because of how inexpensive and easy getting shit from them is.

Still, it's like Amazon selling food: You CAN buy it there, and they've got enough distributor outreach to sell it, but...
