Nintendo Switch Spec Analysis: CPU, GPU Power And The Cost Factor
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUDEcGEoL2w

Nintendo being a developer/publisher like Sega was brought up in the video.

do you think it's a possibility ?

Sony will most likely will not make another portable game system after the Vita.. imo

so if the Switch failed to move systems like the Wii-U again.. i think Nintendo will just focus on portable system instead..

what the guy mentioned in the videos are all valid points

the pricing on this system and its accessories..

yes.. it's still too early to say .. Fall 2017 is when gamers will have to pay for online gaming. so by the end of 2017 or spring 2018.. we will know for sure..

I doubt it will be the last home console . If people dislike the switch then the switch 1.5 will get rid of whatever is the problem.
The WIi U's fault was developers hated working with the system (most returned the dev kits after one game) this time looks like nintendo seems to have fixed that. As the switch isn't really that complicated. So devs should be happy to work with it. If anything will give them practice making tablet games for IOS and Android. So could be a really good thing for some people who demand more console type games on tablets.

Even the store I bought my Wii U from has the switch at the Recommended Selling Price. Where as I paid $359 or $369 for the $429 premium ed Wii U that was a pre order too. Also they gave me a free rubber case for the gamepad.
So I would say the store knew it was going to be a failure from the start. They still had stock left after release even at those prices as well which is kinda sad.

The switch to me seems like it's what the WIi U should have been full stop. But they decided to release it way way too early. They should have done something else between the Wii and now. (or when the WIi U was actually ready)
The Wii U gamepad was chunky and under powered. It also is the first and only controller I have ever used that caused my wrists to get fatigued and only in like 20-30mins where as I can play with other controllers for hours. So even if they had the best games ever I still wouldn't buy them.

These are the only Wii U games I can think of that I bought. Windwaker HD, scribblenauts. New Super Mario U. So as you see I stopped getting games for it real early.

Only way for nintendo to stop with home consoles. Someone comes out with something that they can't beat. Somehow the Switch causes everyone's house to burn down so no one buys them ever again.

I only have a few questions about the switch does it have a power pass function or what does it do to stop the battery from over charging?
Also on what level are the motion controls. Wii level or wii motion plus level?

If it's the wii motion plus level I don't think I want it unless it's there for some games only. As the Wii motion plus level of controls was the number 1 reason why I have never played skyward sword. Even though i pre ordered it lol. Best $119.95 music CD and Yoshi plushy ever.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Limited Edition Nintendo Wii $119.95 I didn't think I had the order confirmation but I did.
2nd reason was too many spiders.

It's a tough call at this point. Many people have been wanting Nintendo to go as a pure game maker for quite some time now, and there's no question that they would be successful at it. Heck, I know I'd start buying some Nintendo software again if it didn't mean I had to buy Nintendo hardware just to play it on.

The thing is, Nintendo is still pretty successful where they are right now. If anything I could see their next hardware basically being a full combination of the home/portable concept that the Switch is taking baby steps towards. That is, of course, assuming the Switch doesn't crash and burn like the Wii U did (and like the Wii did amongst the core gaming audience).

Last time they said they have 80 games in development then that number increased by 20! So now there is a 100 games in development. I did see that 2 developer names disappeared from Gamestop's Nintendo Switch list of developers working on Switch games. Now 2 doesn't sound like a big number and if that number doesn't climb up for a long time it could just be that the Switch just doesn't do what they need it to do. As for the rest they may be completely comfortable with developing on the Switch. I think a lot more then 2 left the Wii U right?

i'm sure there were a lot of developers/publisher stated that they will support the Wii-U when they announced it.. so what happened?

Nintendo does not want to compete with Sony and Microsoft now.. they are moving toward mobile gaming from the look of it

early adopters will surely complaint about the drought after getting their new system on day 1

there are those who complained that there are no games to play on the ps4 or xbox one when on day 1 even when they have like 15+ games on release day.. let alone ported games from the previous system..
