Ok short story in my 20 i used to hand out some my script in San DiegO Comic-Con.
been doing it 3 years in a row, hell i made a documentary, in the time was attending 6month course
of film school. So i didnt left it made some 3 years of vlog reviewing movies, and even a diarity
(that always help) But just read what this comment say to proof, to get publish, to make somethem, one thing
i learn in comic-con, they dont want talent or ideas, is just busines, so manny today think they can make
the next stephen king or next youngadult novelist, or whatever.
And i m not ranting here, cause right now i m 37 and and have suffering anxiety, but my god damn mind
till continue making thing up, something i would like to cut my wrist, just to stop.
I know i m going mental, but serious i m taking some meds
Funny in 2012 saw anime in it genres, havent stop then i said i wanna make my own.
from 2015 to today something is building, is just hobby, but hey it would be fun make
something something that mix 90's image comics with art of jeff matsuda n Joe Madureira,
with some kingdom hearst style art, and mechas a la gurren Laggan.
huh when overboard, luck to those who wanna go for it,
but onething gonna let one my character say
Tushi "mainstream audiense suck, so does the people that exploit em"

Fear of lack of development and missing details over certain characters, situations, or events.
Thought about writing a story before, but my shortage of vocabulary and English issues may get in the way.
Not really much time as a full-time college student, I may have the A grades in all classes but no time for anything else

I used to write fanfics a long time ago.

I don't want to list them because back then those were credited with my real name LOL.

Already had creative ideas, already have made some of them into short stories, already regret ether the cringe or stupidity of at least half of em.

What do you think I spent most of my 7th grade time doing? Writing medieval fiction about noble mouse knights, evil rat barbarians, and hawks for dragons. Too much Warcraft 3 and boredom.

Then there are the stories about my OC, a time mage duelist on a dimension hopping adventure in search of Phat Lewt, awesome new weapons, and kicking ass, along with all the stupid stuff that happens from his chaotic disposition. Like finding a secret magical girl village with a giant AC-130 of a dragon as a guardian, and being said dragon's honorary chew toy for the crime of accused pedo alert! (he was really trying to steal the last magic spells practiced in the world) Randomly deciding to tell every United States President a yo mamma joke, because he can. (literally woke up one morning deciding to repeat what he saw in a dream) Also involves a sword duel with Andrew Johnson, and a boxing match with Teddy Roosevelt. And my most recent, pulling out the holy sword Excalibur....

By using TNT, C4, a pissed off badger, badger piss, THE BOOT OF DOOM!! (one of his many collected weapons), The holy hand grenade. (turns out to be a fake, along with the cup it came in), an Arthur voodoo doll, 2 sticks of butter, and finally WD40.

I write these stupid stories whenever I come up with a stupid idea in my head. Which is very often, though I forget about most of them long before I can even think about them long enough to make a stupid story.

I wouldn't say I've never had creative ideas, I have just never liked writing them as stories.

I did write a story AND publish it too (check link: https://www.createspace.com/7241463 ) but it seems like no one is buying it. The hardest part isn't writing it, it's getting someone to read your book.

No, because nothing I could make is worth anything to anyone.

I write poetry and short stories. I'm currently working on a Sci-fi fantasy novel...which I've been writing for 2 years. I spent most of my time with outlining and character development. I have a bad habit of editing as I go, which is why I can't finish. I need to just hammer out the rough draft and know it will be horrible and that's ok. Then edit and work on the second draft. I enjoy writing. I will likely be the only one who sees it.

If I can ever get over the fact that Lord of The Rings & Game of Thrones are the pinnacle of fantasy, and that all I have to do is just write my own story without looking at them in fear because I *somehow* want to match that quality (won't happen).

Basically I just need to forget those series exist but it's nigh impossible to NOT look at them for reference/comparisons to my own story, characters, and all that.

I would, or at the very least draft an outline or something so that somebody else could someday write it for me. Creative ideas just elude me, and I'm so focused on other things that I probably wouldn't get anywhere with it. But nevertheless, it would be quite a big deal if it gets out there even if somebody else gets the credit for it. So that's where I would go with it realizing that I just don't have what it takes to write a story, and I expect that it would go much better if I just stayed out and let someone who is better at it do the writing.

Exercise your writing creativity like you would learn a new skill, you need to master over time

I want to piggy back this comment right here to let everyone know that writing is a skill just like any other. You have to practice to get better at it. I've been writing everyday for about four years now. My first work was on a fantasy series that I've had in my head since high school. I've written four books in the series totaling about 1600 pages. I like the characters and the story, but honestly my skills back then were very lacking and I'm too embarrassed to show it to anyone, though I do plan to go back and revise, writing a second draft of each novel eventually. My second work is sort of a space opera that I think has a lot of potential, but I eventually stalled out on and never finished it because I had an idea for my third work that I thought could be really special. Now, I'm about half-way through what is easily my best work and I'm actually starting to have confidence in my writing skills.

Anyway my point is, if you're an aspiring writer who lacks confidence in your own ability. Just keep at it, writing everyday, and you will get better.
