Maybe, I don't mind scars, but it just depends on how the scar came about, how distracting it is, etc.

What useless human would choose to get rid of their scars? They tell a tale worth far more then your meaningless pretty face or body. My scars prove to anyone who looks my way that I am not afraid of fighting, not afraid of showing the world the truth. I don't care how much of my body they cover. They prove my worth far beyond any of your petty notions of how ugly they may make me look.

Eh. My scars are there, but most of them are internal, so it wouldn't much matter if I got rid of them or not. Might make for fewer hospital visits, at least. Most of the external ones.. well, you need to get to know me a lot better before I'll show you those. Once I know someone that well, them seeing the scars never bothers me, since they already know worse things about me anyway.

Yes, I would. Like some of my acne scars, then the dog bite on my face, then this scar on my left arm. That is all, the rest can stay.

Nah, they each have a story to tell.

Scars show I lived, and have survived. Why would I eliminate my proof of existence?

Couldn't have said it better myself and I there's not point in getting rid of my toe scar (I can barely see it anymore and it's an old thing).

My scars aren't something I care about. They aren't worth getting rid of.

Depends on the scar?

I don't need to be scar free but I'd still take a fast and free opportunity to get rid of my scars without a second thought.
I don't benefit from them at all... they just make me sad. I don't need scars to 'remember the past', and none of my scars are from events of any emotional importance to me anywayy. I'd choose any number of more important things to represent who I am before I'd choose 'scars'. Really, they'd be misleading.

Since I fall right in the middle of the options:
I would remove some of them. I have some that bother me that I wish I could get rid of.
But there are also some I don't mind at all, despite the fact that they are big or in noticeable places.

It kind of depends on the scar, but I would keep most of them as they are memories and are a reminder of the type of person I am. Now, if it were a health hazard, then I would want them to be gone, but if it is just there, then I wouldn't. I don't exactly need to be scar-free, but there are some kinds of scars that are quite bothersome and others I wouldn't mind staying.
