I like experimental and ambient music, but I can try other genres too.

Albums I like:
Tame Impala - Currents
Cigarettes After Sex Discography
2814 - Rain Temple
2814 - TBOAND
t e l e p a t h discography
HKE - HK

Genres of music that I generally don't like:
Generic EDM (house, dubstep, it all sounds the same)
Most Hip Hop (some exceptions are made)
Most Pop (except psych-pop)
Most rock (except power metal and shoegaze)

I prefer Bandcamp artists/albums/labels as not only do I support the artists directly, but because it's just easier for me to get ahold of. I'm going on a road trip this weekend and I'm gonna need lots of music to keep me entertained.

SIDE NOTE:
One of my friends showed me some album a while ago, it was this kind of ambient soundscape thing that I really liked for a few bucks, was released by either a russian artist or russian label, don't remember, something russian. It had a green album art and was called something along the lines of "forest nymph anthem" or something like that. Was a fantastic album. If anyone knows the actual name, hit me up.

Yppah, Tycho, Helios, Moderat, Apparat, Hammock, Roosevelt, Lord Huron and Radical Face are all really good ambient artists. Radical Face is more of an acoustic folk artist, but he's good background music too.

You have very good taste, thank you. Exactly what I was looking for.
