I'm not saying you didn't have a valid point, but I'm saying the way you posted the thread, it looked like as if it was your own words. I was thinking, "Hey! That guy really knows how to make a point!"

Later I find out, that it came from an article someone else wrote. There is nothing wrong with posting something someone else wrote, as long as you post the link, and put it in the

"quote box."


That way people KNOW that you didn't write it, and think that the credit is yours.

You made a good point, but you didn't give credit where it was due.

Next time, you'll know better.

You should probably edit your opening post with the link from the article you quoted, and then just quote one or two sections of it, and then put in your own two cents to drive the point home.

Something like that.
