For the past couple of months, I have received random HTTP Error 500 errors with a simple reload/refresh of the page resolving the issue. This morning, however, I have been unable to watch a single show, and navigation has been horrid. It took me 30 minutes to make it to this page to post this "question". (Luckily I copied my info here before I hit post as it blew up on me several times before the post would occur!!)

As a web developer, I do know that 500 errors are server level and not client level, so the issue is with your systems/servers. Please review this constant issue as it is making it difficult to enjoy the only real past time I have.

I'm getting this as well. At first it wouldn't let me login in, now it's giving me errors all over the place.

Still don't think I can access the site via my Firefox browser.

I am having the exact same issue as well. I have cleared my Cache and reset my session, however, that did not work. I am currently unable to watch any shows as of this moment. A resolution to this incident would be helpful.

Please let us know if there is anything that can be done to resolve this issue.

While this method along with running a DNS flush may allow you to hit a different CloudFlare server, the issue is embedded in the server array that is hosting the Crunchyroll site and its media. After some reading on a similar issue just a few days ago, there is a general consensus that the issue is related to a DDoS attack on Crunchyroll. the CloudFlare service is there to prevent exactly that. So while I may agree that something is amiss, I don't know that I would throw that reason into the ring at this time.

It may well be one, but if so, CR really needs to consider how to manage this better. Those of us who pay money and are truly loyal to the service will not abandon them over it, but we do expect some form of resolution, or at least a decent explanation post on one of there social media outlets. Spending over an hour just trying to navigate the site is frustrating, but with a simple post, I would have moved on to other things. just sayin'...

I noticed the Apple TV app is pretty much unusable today, so I came to the forums to check what might be going on.

Right now I'm having a lot of trouble just refreshing these forum pages in a browser, Firefox or Chrome.

I hope they come up with a solution soon. As a long-time paying member, this is super frustrating.

I was barely able to watch something today on CR. Seems like it happens between Saturday night to Sunday morning times. (hasn't seen it happening other than those time frames this year). Anyone know why?

Yeah, something is definitely off. Haven't been able to access CR via my Roku or PS4 app most of the weekend.

A 500 error is an error that happens inside the web server. Clearing your cache will likely not help.

Apparently, there is some known issue and their engineers are investigating.

I have been having this issue for months as well, both yesterday and today however i have been unable to use the App (for both manga and anime) as when the app opens it just opens to a blank page then says error connecting to server.

Just to provide another datapoint: I've been using the site for the majority of the weekend without encountering any issues. Whatever this is doesn't seem to effect everyone equally.

Ironically, cloudflare decided to eat my first attempt of posting this but that's the first hiccup I ran into this weekend.
