It's not personal opinion if it is backed by video evidence, statistics, logic, reason, and common sense. For example, if I say islam is an ideology of evil, that's not my opinion. Don't believe me? Go to the saudi arabia and tell them you are a trans jew from Amercia and see what happens to you. Oh wait, a lot of those milim countries won't even let jews in. You can argue with opinions until the end of time, but you can't argue with hard evidence and proven facts.

Oh? Go Alabama and say you'er a trans jew from New York and see what happens to you

Probably still wouldn't be as bad lol.

Please provide your expat/pilgrimage/academic/business visa that allowed you to enter Saudi Arabia, and a video WITH discernable audio that depicts you proclaiming you are a trans Jew in the kingdom. Until then, you are still spouting opinion.

If you are not a trans Jew, and have never stepped foot in the kingdom, OR cannot provide digital or hard evidence of the consequences of this [irrational] behavior you choose to use as an example, it is still opinion.

If you tell me I have to go look for this said evidence to prove YOUR "point" - it is still opinion.

Do your homework.

Wrong again, look at my latest post that I wrote to ninjitsuko. Do YOUR homework.

Look at my latest post and tell me with a straight face that ALL of that stuff is not evil. Yeah, because stoning women to death, throwing gays off buildings, and murdering people for drawing cartoons is not evil at all. BRAINWASHED!

For all I know, God really is that big of a dick, and actually wants us to stone women, throw gays off building, and murder people for Charlie Hebdo, and that they're the rational people for obeying an all powerful ass of an entity.

I believe it is all subjective, depending on my daily gauge for determining morality. Some days, I wonder if the end all be all god that lives overhead determine morality and meaning.

Evil is a vague but powerful term. It scares me how it can rile people up, especially when used to describe any group of people or idea. I am not too fond of the term, both in fiction or nonfiction.

Although, if I had to judge by my standards, and I will, I do not disagree with you, but I would not say my opinions are fact, but are those that I find "rational". I acknowledge my own ignorance and limitations. Even a god such as I could be wrong in his rational capability. \

I find stoning women, throwing gays off building, and killing someone over a cartoon are immoral, evil things.

Yes, morality is subjective, but then there is common sense. You should become a lawyer. Who willingly wants to get thrown off buildings, raped, stoned to death, beheaded, etc.?

I did not offer any examples as you did on your own accord. I requested evidence to support your "argument".

If this is your practice of telling others to go find previous examples of what YOU posted in the past in order to lazily "provide" examples in order to initiate a debate, then dude, that is a weak argument.

IDGAF what past argument you had with someone else, and it has no leverage with what you're trying to start now.

I give you a D- for effort.

Do YOUR homework, and learn the difference between tangible evidence and deluded opinion.

evidence
[ev-i-duh ns]
noun
1. that which tends to prove or disprove something; ground for belief; proof.
2. something that makes plain or clear; an indication or sign:
His flushed look was visible evidence of his fever.
3. Law. data presented to a court or jury in proof of the facts in issue and which may include the testimony of witnesses, records, documents, or objects.

opinion
[uh-pin-yuh n]
noun
1. a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.
2. a personal view, attitude, or appraisal.
3. the formal expression of a professional judgment: to ask for a second medical opinion.
4. Law. the formal statement by a judge or court of the reasoning and the principles of law used in reaching a decision of a case.
5. a judgment or estimate of a person or thing with respect to character, merit, etc.: to forfeit someone's good opinion.
6. a favorable estimate; esteem: I haven't much of an opinion of him.

The vast majority of people who are spouting opinions of the middle eastern countries have a laughably ignorant understanding of them. There are places you shouldn't go in the Middle East and say culturally offensive things. Shocking. Truly.

Just like you shouldn't go to South Chicago and tell random people that you are a gay Jewish man either. Both scenarios have a higher degree likelyhood of violence.

I have to clarify something. I think Islam has a current tendency to violence, but not an inherently violent culture. No idea I have found, no religion I could see, that is a completely all consuming one that it must be acted on in the same way by all those who choose to believe it without exception. No idea like that exists without a mind control ray.

I also argue that the standard of common decency, while having roots in our evolutionary DNA and all that, is still reasonably different among cultures.

I find it funny when someone tries to find logic behind Trump voters. As that statement in itself is an oxymoronic statement. Also arguing with them is illogical

Indeed.

In either case, I think the OP is just lonely, needs someone to talk to. Which is fine, I suppose. Best to do that using a chat UI, like Steam or something. Can get "a more intelligent discussion" that way, then to use CR.

Not true, in the past we did have and ED, and there was many great debates, but I don't think this OP is after a two sided debate, I think he just expects people to agree with him.

If its a real debate you want for real then should have created a thread with a good debate topic.

I am atheist, and a scientist, so I have created debates on evolution, even genetic manipulation, and cloning. They are old now so I let them die. The fact is their are debate threads for intellectuals, trouble is those are not the threads you click on.

''Anyone happens to disagree with your Ideas is Illogical based on what factors? " Because the Idea that people not agreeing with you must imply they are wrong?

LOL.

Your Ideals are Hypocritical based on placing "all" Trump supports as illogical.

The last evolution thread on here made me cry tears of blood for the future of human society. Did they actually use to involve intellectual debate? I missed whatever this golden age of Extended Discussion was. It was only GD when I started paying attention to the forums.
