It's bad enough that the DNC has crappy cyber security in place. And, according to wikileaks, they have stuff from the RNC servers as well..... And thanks to Hillary Clinton's illegal severs in her house, our enemies around the world have our secrets.

But wait! There's more!

Don't forget Trump is doing the exact same thing. Oops, forgot that doesn't fit your narrative.

MB grow up man...

There was no "narrative" here. he even said that wikileaks has the RNC server stuff too - he didnt blame the pentagon security on the DNC either.

im sick of everyone going into attack mode the second they see DeadlyOats no matter WHAT he says.

The issue with Hillary having a private email server was not that she had one, but that she used it as her work email address and had sensitive and classified information going through it. All the report you linked says is that some of the people working in the White House have active email addresses that may be other than their work address, which isn't much of a report. If there is anything found that it is being used as the work address or that there was sensitive information flowing through it, then you have a story, but until then you don't.

If you think cyber security is intrinsic to red and blue party lines you are about as naïve as they come.

Notice that I wrote, "And, according to wikileaks, they have stuff from the RNC servers as well..."?

You see that? It's an indication that I don't think that "cyber security is intrinsic to red and blue party lines."

That's cutely uninsightful. Notice how the video linked doesn't cite a source, only claiming that Trump Administration officials "reportedly" use the RNC server for communications. In addition to being unverified, the MSN post makes no indication what the officials might be using the party server for. Why would it be surprising or objectionable that ranking members of the Republican Party would want to use the server to communicate about party business and strategy? I don't support Trump or the Administration, but I don't really see the problem here either. Unless it's proven that Trump, et al are using the RNC system to break the law you are just drawing a false equivalency.

Suppose WikiLeaks and foreign entities have hacked the RNC. Unless there is information on the server that can't be there legally, so what? Let the Kremlin know about fundraisers and party secrets. It serves only to make our government more transparent insomuch as no information essential to national security or state secrets fall into the wrong hands. I had no problem with Secretary Clinton using a private email server for her personal business until it was demonstrated that sensitive State Dept. and Obama Admin. information passed through it that it became an issue, which was really indefensible and demonstrated poor judgement.

Basically, elected officials have misunderstood technology for a long time. This tends to affect the operations at the ground level quite a bit. These systems additionally have DOD bureaucracy layered on top. I am not willing to chalk this one up to servers being reconfigured due to technical incompetence in DOD IT staff or contractors. I am, however, willing to blame poor management and poor budgets.

Really though, the lesson to take away from all of this is that politicians should not be trusted with secure documents.

So we're f_____.

That would be because everything he says is conspiracy driven and/or politically driven. Case in point: He could have brought up cybersecurity as a bipartisan issue. But threw in the claim that Clinton's "illegal" ( it wasn't. The server itself wasn't the potentially illegal part. ) private server was compromised to the point that "enemies around the world have our secrets". ( There is no direct evidence the server was ever breached ).

The FBI also concluded that the State Department itself was bad at interwebs. So he could have gone with the issue in general. But he chose instead to make an easily debunkable claim about emailghazi.
