Chemicals lurking in my fast food wrappers just waiting for me to let my guard down and ambush me? How exciting. Its like a game of cat and mouse with my cheeseburger.

Let me guess, their study included feeding lab rats their body's weight in packaging every day for a month?

Whenever you die, you're not going to be happy about dying.

Meh, no one worth saving is eating fast food anyway. Let the over fed and useless masses die of whatever chemical induced death they are going to die of.

I don´t touch fast food, let alone eat it so can´t say I really care what´s in it or what kind of packaging it is.

So when I get the urge to eat fast food, make sure to eat the packaging too. Got it.

Kind of a no-brainer, to be honest. It specifically being fluorine that's called out is a new one. Pretty sure there are plenty of other chemicals that can be listed.

Really not new news given a chance people find everything loaded with a chemical
I will use my own judgement when it comes to food.

You're a jerk, aren't you? Then again, I don't think I've ever seen anything that you've posted that's nice and not wishing death upon someone.

I am sorry mate I reserve my empathy for people with an actual problem. People freaking out their horribly unhealthy food is indeed horribly unhealthy are not worth anyone's sympathy. Am I to feel sorrow for the fact these people lack the common sense to avoid the slow death fast food is, or the health issues associated with long term consumption of it , or should I just in general go out of my way to solve every first world problem?

And no I am not the nicest person on the planet. I can be a downright prick at the best of times. But at the very least I am honest and not wasting my time with such a trivial issue as the toxicity of a fast food wrapper. Nor wasting effort pretending I feel sorry for the idiots willingly going anywhere near them.

i suspect the high amount of carbs, fat, salt and sugar content is more detrimental to health than whatever chemicals may be in the packaging. not to mention the amount of preservatives put to ensure the food remains "fresh".

I always thought chemistry was kind of boring; I guess I never got to the part about lurking.

I'm glad there's a discussion on this. Diet and Nutrition are huge and usually dismissed as important. I cook most of my own food, but that just means I make my own chinese fast food at the comfort of my own home lol. I make general's chicken every other damn day
