If you had won unlimited funds for a single trip, where would you go? And how would you travel?

I know it would be tough but I would like to retrace the Silk Road from Xi'an to Venice, by the travel available during it's golden era, foot, camel, horse and wagon.

Everywhere. I love travelling and have gone across the world once(not to everywhere, since I had a limited budget but to many places). Now I'd want to go to every other place I haven't yet been, also revisit some of my favorite places and, you know.. explore stuff.

Btw, if you want to retrace the Silk Road just like they did, you don't even need unlimited funds, mate. It's not super expensive to travel by outdated means. Although you've probably done more research on the cost than I have so I'm prepared to stand corrected.

I love travelling as well. Just since going back to college all my $ has gone bye-bye and it'll be a long time before I get the chance to strap on the backpack again

Yeah, I'm in the same situation. I have just over 1 year left of Uni and then I can finally earn enough to save up for a trip again. Universities right now are so damn expensive that everything besides food and gym has to be a secondary priority.

I want to walk the Bering strait during the dead of winter by myself. From what ive looked up it would be a little over a 10 hour walk(51 miles to cover).

If finds were indeed unlimited, I'd plan to visit every inch that I could. I'd start in Japan then maybe to Korea... then who knows?

I'd go to the Chernobyl NPP. I really don't care how I get there, but I suppose mixing a train ride in there somewhere would be nice. I want to see abnormally large wolves and take in the sights of the dilapidated structures. See the ferris wheel and all the classic iconography- good times~

I'd go back to Japan again. A few days in Tokyo but I find small villages to have a much stronger allure.

Oooh, I've been there it's beautiful. The Cyclades islands are great. That looks like Oia. Oh and you can even find places in caves for accommodation.

I'd like to visit;

Brazil
Cuba
the Bahamas
Barbados
Belize
Mauritius
Madagascar
Kenya
Ghana
Singapore
Seychelles
Curacao
Canada (only in the summer)
Canary islands.
