I've moved this to Site Support / Minor Questions.

I certainly don't know the details of how it works for every title, but my understanding is that the timing has to do with contractual agreements. Just because a show aired on a certain day in Japan doesn't mean that Crunchyroll was able to get rights to air on that same day. It can depend on who they license the show from, for one thing. While most shows are simulcast same day as earliest air date in Japan, there are a handful where that isn't true. "Simulcast" has typically been used to mean that CR has it in the same season as it's being shown in Japan. I've seen it range from mere minutes to, in one case, 6 weeks (usually though, "delaycasts" aren't delayed more than a week.)

In the case of Case Closed, the current schedule is actually an improvement over what it used to be -- it used to be a full week I think, but is now more like 3 or 4 days I believe.

Not just the movies but would be awesome for the whole series to be added so people who haven't started detective conan can actually watch it I might even rewatch it myself if they add it.

I've highlighted a couple of things here because this is something that comes up a bit and there are always people finding out about this for the first time.

As is implied from Lorreen's second highlighted comment, there isn't necessarily one single air date for a show/espidoe the way things are these days in the US/UK and probably other places.

As far as I am aware, different local stations may have different days on which certain shows air. (If you're a Brit and an old fart like myself, think of ITV regions back in the 1980s and early 90s. Some shows, especially imports, could be on totally different times and days depending on if you were in London or Leeds.)
On top of this, there can often be contractual holdbacks so that an episode doesn't stream until it's been fully broadcast across its country of origin. Which does make a certain amount of sense.

Of course, fansubs will hit torrent trackers and dodgy streaming sites the moment the first broadcast gets captured, uploaded, downloaded, translated and re-encoded. And the raw will, like it or not, be out in the wild within an hour of the first broadcast ending.
So it will enhance the perception of any delay there is between the Japanese broadcasts and any official international streams. But there will likely be areas in Japan also feeling the same frustration f their local network airs "Monday's" show on a Saturday.
