Weither we like it or not. Government can get access to our computer for security reason.. Making sure we're not a threat to our country.

Also they can check making sure terrorist not hacking into our computer to do dangerous thing to their Main Computer.

Or our Government are simply bored and want to look into what we got for fun of it.

I'm curious as to why all the people who don't care about privacy aren't using their real names and photos for their profiles?

Ok... you're kind of at the opposite end of the spectrum from the point I was making and we are in agreement on this particular topic but hey, if you're in a giving, open mood I'll make you the same offer re: credit cards and transparency

You think the people work for the government is any better?

Most of them no better than the crazies that would stalk you.. that is why better learn to defend your self than have more crazies spying on you.

It's not a big issue for me. I know a lot of people who are very private. It doesn't bother me too much. I come from a family that aren't very good about privacy, so...

I don't believe privacy is about hiding stuff, because you don't really need it to hide things you do not want other people to know. for me at least, its more because your information (and by extension your personal life and identity) get exploited for economic reasons by companies like google or facebook. and its the same with windows 10: I wouldn't mind being tracked in order to use cortana per se, what upsets me the fact that the same data will be shared with 3rd party advertisers under terms i have no control over, and then mined for profit.

Yes this, it freaks me out when I put something in my cart when I'm online shopping and moments later any advertisement I look at is the product I was planning on buying. Although I think there is a way to disable that, I've just forgotten how.

I try to protect my privacy as much as I can, although that is becoming more and more difficult as time goes on.

I'm kinda open, if I really want to have privacy I won't install a wifi card on my computer when I assemble it. An off the grid computer plus it won't ever have a virus. While having another one with internet capabilities that's more public.

What I dislike is the connections to everything, like through Facebook or Linkedin, advertisements, people i apparently might know, that I feel is very invasive but then that's what I get for even having anything social media related. As said, once you're online, you can only really do so much about your privacy.

the world where everything is connected to the internet. It's like the world of Megaman..

They asked me during my interview if i have any social media account. I told them that i only have a facebook account that i'll check every 1-2 weeks..

i guess it's abnormal now a day to only have one social media account and not checking it as often..
