another terrorist attack -- from the look of it the terrorists realize it by now. There are weapons readily available to use all around them. Domestic terrorist attacks are hard to prevent-- living with people who want to kill you for not having the same view in either politic or religion..etc

I'm sure the usual news channels will start pointing fingers but will people do anything about this to prevent it from the future...

scuhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uS3Vp_quGCwmbags in disguise scare me more than people who will just speak what's on their mind especially scumbags who like to preach for peace and tolerance but will use violence when they can't convince the opposition

Like the Professor of ethics at Berkley the devil in human skin

i'm guessing this is the reply to the post from the cat guy about you watching to much john wick ?

Most people in the first world countries are thin skin, fragile mind, living in their echo chamber now a day-- such aggressive behavior you posted are only in movies-- what do you expect ? especially when their favorite propaganda channel will not cover it. They have to tune in to their favorite propaganda channel to realize that there are poverty and starvation going on around the world-- yet they are blinded to the same problems in their own country. You want to see poverty and starvation in the US, check the local food bank or homeless shelter. It's the mentality of those living a sheltered life for all their life

speaking of which there's a new trailer

First They Killed My Father | Official Trailer [HD] | Netflix
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uS3Vp_quGCw

child labor, child slavery, child prostitution, child sex slaves, child soldiers, etc.. -- things you don't see on the news anywhere -- i guess you have to make a movie about it to expose people to the reality -- but then again it's a movie so it must be fake right?

I'm sure people will continue to live in their little echo chamber/bubble-- their little perfect world where you will just need more laws and the whole population will follow those laws. Laws will prevent us from committing criminal acts--

as for the professor of ethics-- it's shocking isn't it ? I guess any scumbag can get a degree in California now a day

Went to the range yesterday and popped off a couple hundred rounds, felt good. Need to tighten my groups even more, that being said, I'm trying to get them really really tight, but am still able to put 15 rounds through a target's head at 7 yards as fast as I can reset and shoot.

What did you shoot and what caliber if you don't mind me asking? I usually shoot 7.62 but I only get a couple of chances to go out and shoot a year. I've gotten pretty good with the AK. I can get a close grouping in the center of a target at 20 yards using iron sights.

Don't feel too bad about that, as AKs and 7.62x39 isn't renowned for being a sub-moa gun. If you can get 1-2 inch groups you are doing fine with an AK series. But I'd be honest and start trying to move out further and seeing how well it holds out at 50, 75, and 100 yards. Least if you have a range that gives you the chance.

You're right about the 7.62x39 and AK not being a tack driver. The AK-74 and the 5.45x39 is a bit better than that in both range and accuracy, but really if you want a tack driver on the cheap and leave in a free state the AR-15 platform is the way to go. 7.62x39 does work better out of shorter barrels, so that SBR AK pistol is still good.

Let Phuc Long talk about it.

aggressive behavior ? unless you know me in person-- i wouldn't use "behavior" just from some forum posts there..

like i said, i grew up in a hellhole so when it comes to defending my life i'll not hesitate-- i guess when i posted about using a car key as a weapon, rock, knife? etc.. it guess it sounds like the stuff from the movie ?

individuals living a sheltered life think they are all professor of ethics -- i guess in the situation i posted in a few pages back.. i should use the rape whistle? pepper spray/mace ? or call 911 ? use a taser?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEp5DTtA5y0

6,424 untested rape kits in Arizona
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep0wwPUalY0

I don't know .. which has more stopping power and will be a lot louder than any rape whistle ?

.45 glock vs taser? pepper spray? whistle? I'll take my chances with the .45 glock.+ knife and phone thank you. why? when seconds count the police are 10-20 minutes away around here.

I'll check out the movie (series?) it looks interesting-- I was one of those child laborers (not by force but by choice). We were poor. I had to help out with the work before and after school. We were literately scrapping by... You can work 12-14 hours a day and still only have enough money to buy enough foods to get by. Back then I've never had a meal when I'm truly full after eating. Looking back without knowing my situation -- people would think i was abused or an anorexic child

Anyway, it's sad and pathetic seeing how these first world countries are crying over the simplest things. It's like you said-- they don't need to turn on their favorite propaganda channel to know there are poverty and starvation in this country; a trip to the local food bank or homeless shelter will do. These people lost touch of reality living in their high rise condos/apartments.etc..

My apology. Please allow me to rephrase it. "aggressive response to a life threatening situation" ..

I personally don't care what people do when their life is on the line or when they are going to be kidnapped. It's not that uncommon in this city. They are doing it in broad daylight

https://www.phoenix.gov/police/neighborhood-resources/crime-stats-maps

rape whistle-- unless you don't understand the bystander effect it's worthless-- it might cause the attackers to do something more violent (like hitting you in the head shut you up)
mace/peper spray-- can stop some criminals but if you missed--add more fuel the fire
taser- let's hope you don't miss or the guy/girl is not on drugs - will add even more fuel to the fire

.45 glock ? with 6-13 rounds -- You have a better chance

The police will not pop up instantly after you called 911 so you are on your own in that time frame..

Accuracy is important so frequent visit to the range is necessary.

I would also take some self defense class as well. It can be a form of exercise, build self esteem and life saving.
