I'm currently trying to find good Japanese independent bands and metal bands. (My favorite kind being Deathcore)

I know it's kinda weird, but I am a sucker for smaller indie artists and I'm in a metal phase right now. Anyone have any suggestions?

Can't go wrong with Maximum the Hormone, Dir En Grey, and Sigh

Dir en grey all the way. They evolved nicely.

Deathgaze, Coaltar of the deepers, The Gazette...I wouldn't think of these examples exactly unknown or 'indie' though!

The videos say I can't play them in my country. I've never had that happen before.

My most listened to Japanese metal band would probably be Versailles. As a guitarist their guitar work is phenomenal.
