Yet another useless alt-right boycott this time netflixs
ews.nationalpost.com/arts/television/alt-right-members-cancel-netflix-subscriptions-in-effort-to-boycott-series-dear-white-people

I wonder when they will wake up and see how stupid they look

On the bright side very time they call for a boycott stock in that company goes way up #nordstrom

Is it just the alt right? Some people would just get mad over the title if anything else.

In fairness, while I haven't seen the original film, Netflix's advertising was extremely out of touch with the present climate and supposedly very misleading as to the nature of the story as well.

These are the same people calling out liberals as pussies for being offended by the smallest things right? At this rate, we'll have a nation of eunuchs.

It does not have to promote complete extermination in order to be racist. I do not know the premise though, if it is anything like the title I cannot say it is fully unjustified.

While I think yes, regressive rights, are so damn easily offended, I am not entirely sure if the movie is cause for alarm or if it is more than the regressive being offended. If it was an angry film that offers no discussion on racial relations by blaming today's whites, than I would be upset.

Huh, it is not even a documentary as I suspected. Moving on everyone, moving on!

Reading from its synopsis there doesn't seem to be anything anti-white about the original film. Anti-blackface and anti-racism? Yes. Anti-white? No.

It is meant to be satirical humor apparently. Which in all honesty, is a very hard genre to do and you cannot really glean such meaning and define without watching the satirized piece itself. This is where the second hand news of the internet can blow up with great toxicity.

I've come to the conclusion that both the SJWs and the so called Alt-Righters are both emotionally unstable beings that are triggered over the DUMBEST things.

That being said, a boycott is still more mature than acting like a buffoon in public and causing damage to private property in the name of a "protest".

With you on that, it seems like a fun comedy.

But I bet the Marketing Department wanted to bank on Outrage Marketing

Still more peaceful than riots. I support peaceful protest and boycotts. Regardless of whether they're right or left.

What do riots have to do with a boycott of a commercial entity? Have there been riots over a company that I've missed?
