Canadian always been bringing anime early way back then since it close geographical distance and relations with Japan, especially anime imported into the West.

So, what do guys think? Treat Canada as another country backyard or let them handle bringing in anime, Anime Was Better Back Then. No. Both have merit.

I really don't understand what this thread is supposed to be. We have a several weeks old news story about screenings of the Girls und Panzer movie playing in Canada (a story that was already very late to the punch when it was published I might add) A note of Canada being responsible for bringing early anime to America, which I guess is true in some respects like with Dragonball. And then questioning whether or not Canadians should be in charge of more anime? I think. This is pretty hard to read.

Hawaii is best for anything shipped east to west. (or i guess in proper compass directions, west to east). It is basically midway island for civilian trade and cultural exchange. If there is anything that gets a sneak peek at Asian products first, its Hawaii.

Bonus points, adult swim starts at 5pm Hawaiian time because time zones. Same thing for any late night shows based in mainland USA.

Also its muthafuckin Hawaii! what not to like?

oh there is plenty to not like. 500k gets you a 2 bed 1 bath last i heard:P

in addition to living in a disaster prone area, with potential for hurricanes, earthquakes, eruptions, and tsunamis.

Also the wildlife there isn't nice. the Portuguese man o war is a nasty thing, and plenty of tourists die each year because what appears like bushes on the side of a road are actually 40 foot trees. (and thus a 40 foot drop)

Still a nice place to live. If you made of money or are born there.
