What are the cons to having a car that runs on solar energy?

a car running solely on solar energy could have trouble running in the evening / night
to solve this, we could have a solar/electric hybrid
there's also the issue of maintenance, as electronic components of the solar panel might fail over time - but that's not that different from having to check and change oil. in the ideal case, the solar panels would be "reliable", which means you seldom need to worry about maintenance.

That sounds a little better. A solar/electric hybrid sounds a little more realistic than what I want which is a hovercraft.

i remember theories of black holes being possible "portals" in the universe
assuming the theory is true, you'd be able to travel several quadrillion light years in an instant
too bad your body would turn into spaguetti before even reaching the black hole, and then you'd evaporate into nothingness
the quarks and anti-quarks that once was part of atoms that was once part of more complex atomic structures that used to be part of molecules that once was part of your self would possibly reach the other side though. assuming quarks can't break down any further.

Yea I remember some of those theories. One in particular if I remember correctly is there a "worm hole" in a black hole.

I'm waiting on the day we can grow viable replacement organs or stimulate and replace/regrow/heal defective organs.

Go go medical science.

antigravity or teleportation its only a matter of time now until that technology is cracked most likely by a bunch of high school kids at there parents house. We have the math formulas that some Indian mathematician gave us in the early 1900s that was retarded or a savant who was in a mental hospital.
