don't really have a strong preference between the 2 too me it depends more on what flavoring they are given then weather has a bone or not

Can't see why anyone would prefer them with bones. They're both chicken, and one requires less work to enjoy. Sooo, my answer is obviously boneless.

Bone-in, with Parmesan-garlic, or a good, cayenne-and-butter medium heat Buffalo sauce. Boneless (more filling, less work, breading is a distraction) with BBQ, Teriyaki or a really HOT Buffalo sauce + ranch for dipping. Celery as a palate-cleanser between sauces. Also need a decent beer to go along with all of this - nothing heavy like a stout, but something in the IPA range to a honey-wheat.

I don't actually eat farm raised animals so I am going to have to say neither. If you're asking on a grouse or other game bird I prefer bone in, too much hassle otherwise for too little meat.

Well, that's one way, but that's not my way. (That pesky two-bone part of the wing is my favorite part.)

And, to the OP. I prefer bone-in to boneless.There's a distinct satisfaction in grabbing the meaty part with one's teeth and pulling it off the bone.

This never occurred to me. I always hated dealing with bones, but I also naturally came to the conclusion of most of the people above: bone-in is better.

Bones help give the meat shape and give you an idea about the health of the chicken.
