this is a list of official sites that lets you read untranslated manga on the web at no cost.
if anyone knows more official sources, please let me know and i'll add it to the list. thanks.

for those trying to decide whether to buy a raw manga or not, you can simply search
[insert manga name in Japanese] 試し読み
online shops usually lets you preview the first few pages, or at least the table of contents.

Jump + has some WSJ series free like One Piece and Haiykuu (they seem to rotate 1 chapter at a time though) and some original series like elDLIVE and Astra Lost in Space which you can read until the GNs release and they take those chapters down.

the problem ive had with raws is the resolution is too low for a noob like me to read the glyphs. i ended up buying the japanese hardcopy.
