It's because Nozomi Entertainment, the company that these titles are coming from, deals with license distribution in North America for the United States and Canada, so therefore can only authorize the distribution to those countries. If you want them distributed in your countries, then you should contact Crunchyroll and ask them to contact the license distributors for your respective countries instead of complaining about it. That's just how licensing works.

It wasn't about these titles specifically. It's a general thing. Simulcasts tend to be peppered around the world, but old titles added to catalogue are predominantly for North America. I don't think they're all from the same licensing company, or are they? Anyway I understand how licensing works, so I'll reformulate:

is there any hope that Crunchyroll will consider making deals about old titles with European distributors as well? Or is the market here just not big enough for them to bother? Or are European distributors less inclined to provide streaming rights?

There, fixed.

TheAncientOne and Ejanss pretty much already answered for what I was going to say in my response to you. Most of the companies giving the streaming rights to Crunchyroll for these shows are U.S. companies with North America distributing rights. That's why the shows are only available in the U.S. and Canada. And like I said, your best bet for getting the shows streamed in your country is to contact Crunchyroll directly and ask them what they can do to get the shows streamed in your country. Heck, get your friends that you know who use Crunchyroll in your country to contact them as well and let them know that there's a wide interest in wanting those shows streamed in your country. I'm all for wide releases of anime streaming, but you have to understand that with a lot of the older shows Crunchyroll has to deal with several licensing and distribution companies spread around the World instead of just one company out of Japan that's distributing the anime like with current simulcasts.

Viz does not have their own streaming service. They sublicense and use CR, Netflix and (mainly) Hulu as their hub for streaming their licensed shows.

They also have (had?) Neon Alley, but not sure if that's still around ever since they tried to move from a scheduled channel to a streaming/demand one, just like Sentai and Anime Channel.

When they shut down the scheduled (linear) channel (and shut out Canadian viewers), it just became a section on Hulu:

I don't know if even that distinction still exists, but the titles themselves are still on Hulu.

Cool, Gakuen Alice! Super Gals Ran's "chou-everything" are a fun watch if you have no clue what you should be watching and just want some laughter. Kind of have traumas of the monkey boy in there. Can we also have news on European catalog releases?

Gakuen Alice, Yay!

I tried to read the scanlated manga two or three times because Mikan is such a great character, but the funky shoujo-style drawing eventually wore me out every time. Now in anime I bet it will be great.
