I payed for a monthly subscription quite a few times and never said anything when the site has went down or I was unable to watch my shows. This month it's 10 days I couldn't see my shows I paid for and the other 12 months I still missed an average of 5-8 days. Why are we never compensated for this?. Not paying for 2/3rds of a month and it needs to be taken care of.

You should write your congressman or national equivalent.

There would really be no valid reason to reimburse. The site was usable, you just gave up. There has been no time of significant length when the entire site was completely inaccessible to everyone. Even with this CloudFlare or whatever it is called being almost 100% worthless at what their perceived purpose is.

Why would you be compensated for your technical issues you never reported in the first place.

Did you try watching on an app or something? Sometimes an app might be down, the site works, sometimes the site is down and an app works. I've been here 5 years and I've never had the site down be more than a day at the most.

I have not once had a problem accessing the site this month.

The monthly subscription cost isn't even worth the effort of being reimbursed. A whole, what, ten dollars? If even that.

It would be a partial reimburse since the service was usable. So around $2-4 for about a third of a month.

Same. I watch shows here on a daily basis (4+ episodes/day) and haven't issues in watching anything. I guess I'm just lucky or what? Yet the OP is stating that he couldn't access for 10 days? Do others have similar experiences to the OP?

There is a thread entirely about whining about this "issue". So maybe.

not even nearly that much. it's $6.99 a month, or $6.99 for 30 days
that means 699 cents / 30 days or 23.3 cents per day
10 days = 233 cents or $2.33
this is assuming it was down the entire 240 hours
you could try, but i'm not too sure many courts would bother to hear a case for at most $2.33

Eh... I still don't think it's worth it. I mean, CR staff trying to cross-reference logins and whatnot to see what all each paying customer misses out on is nigh impossible, I think. As a business, I hardly imagine CR going by "scout's honor."

If we take OP at his word and assume he missed up to ten days per month in the last year, the loss amounts to a max possible total of... Just under $28. That's me being generous.

I'm stifling a snigger.

Any reimbursement would be a broad one to all paying customers. It really is too small and affects too few people to be more granular in response.

It would take a class action lawsuit and a drunk judge to get blood from this turnip though.
