I used to collect the Sonic the Hedgehog comics made by Archie Comics. They got kinda sucky, that's why I stopped buying them...

Did/does anyone else read those?? lol

back when I was in grade school, read/collected them with some friends.
I have about 25 left, gave half away or so.
some more notable ones:
Death of Galactus (silver surfer), death of superman, marriage of superman.
still have a bunch of cards.
up for sale!

speaking of the marriage of superman, i actually own a copy of the superman wedding album. it is this magnificent one shot with this white cover that has a texture of an actual wedding album. the back cover is a foldout that shows supes and lois kissing as husband and wife. it's really cool. there's even a scene where he talks to batman. anyone who owns or read this will know what i'm talking about.

The only American comics I read are the ones I occasionally read in the newspaper. The only manga I read is Fruits Basket.

i still read mangas time to time. not as much as i used to. i guess it's because i started to get this urge to view things in color. i also recently realized how deep the storylines in the marvel comics and spawn comics really are. if u wanna see american comics through a totally different perspective u should check out the artwork of a guy named alex ross. his visions are so realistic that i actually see comics through a whole new light. his work is amazing. he would take something as simple as a cheezy little fight scene in an old comic and give it some significance. his paintings look so realistic and best of all they're all comic book superheroes. alex ross is a friggin' genious.

Wow I feel dumb for saying this...

But...I used to have little Garfield comic books and they were funny. =]

Until I realized the panels started to look the same.

Panel 1-
John- I'm going to leave this lasagna here knowing Garfield might eat it, but I believe he won't eat it. *Walks away, accomplished*

Panel 2-
Garfield sits and watches lasagna.

Panel 3-
Garfield sits and watches lasagna.

Panel 4-
Garfield sits and watches lasagna.

Panel 5-
Garfield pounces on lasagna and eats it.

Panel 6-
John- GARFIELD!!!!!!

Its sad and true. ]]=

^I've never before heard of reading comics in class, whatever the language. So I guessed this must be Waldorf style ;-)

Me too Waldorfschule is hard to describe to foreigners. It's a type of school in Germany which is made fun of a lot, as their schedule is rather...special and students there engage in such things as paper dipping and well...they are hippies... ?
