Many Japanese can't watch to much violence and too much sexual animations because of government regulation
In Japan. That's why I only watch mild or romance story and action but not bloody.

Well, that's interesting to hear.

I'm assuming you meant to say that the Japanese government regulates violence and sexual acts portrayed in anime, and not that they regulate how much anime Japanese citizens can watch.

The US also has regulations, but they regulate it by giving labels that recommends the minimum age you should be to watch it. The recommended ages are not enforced, but it acts more as a guidance for parents to decide if they should let their children watch it.

I don't think the US has banned any animation due to violence or sexual acts. I think it is also the same for films with real actors. However, if the violence or sexual acts are real, then there would probably be many that are banned. All films that would depict real violence would be banned, while ones that depict sexual acts would still be under age regulations or banned, if they violate laws on sexual acts.

I also don't enjoy much violence in anime. I'm fine with sexual acts, as long as it doesn't interfere too much with the story of the anime.

I usually avoid anime that has a lot of gore. But if the story is compelling, I might still watch it but cover my eyes when violent scenes occur.

Some Japanese stuff is gory, like reeeeaally. And I'm not talking about Corpse Party.
So you mean in Japan the portrayal of overly sexual or violent acts is forbidden?

To me, thats the best kind of anime to watch. I love hyper violence in my anime, Fist of the Northstar,. I dont need some of the sexualness that comes in anime, but some of the fan service is ok, Air Master, Godannar

Each to its own, cause every taste is different. But hentai aren't censored now, are they? I thought everything (including genitals) are shown explicitly.
