Probably last night. I attended an award ceremony for the American Advertising Federation and won a gold award for one of my graphic design pieces.

I would have to say....the day I REALLY began to read, you see up intel I was 15 all I did was play games, not caring for anything around me. I figured reading was not that big a deal anyone can do it in this day and age but one day in class our teacher made us go to the library and get a book with around 300 pages and read it, and make a report. well naturally I figured, lord of the rings because its easy and I could just watch the movie win win, but when I got there it was gone. so I looked around the fantasy area until I found a book title that I found kind of cool, the eye of the world by Robert Jordon ( the wheel of time saga ) and when I began reading I was hooked, and then when my addiction to anima awoken I looked up online translations, bought light novels and manga, and books from game franchises and fantasy sagas. if it wasn't for that project I would never have know the joy of looking into a new world from pages. and that's why now at the age of 21 ( 22 in three months ) I am making notes and working on my vary own story to post for people to enjoy ( its the usual, main protagonist stuck in a fantasy world but he is not the hero really ) its The consequences of the Hero App!

I recall sharing some home-made drinks with my new friends from school... It was cool how a simple drink could make us stay up all night till we were too tired and had to sleep in the lounge room. I think it was the first time I had seen my kitchen meddlings go so well too XD LOL!!!!

And another was when I realized just how interesting history was -- and my interest was mainly focused on kid's fables and how to write them... I've never even gotten close to completing my own stories but I really admire the authors. The simplicity of it is a true art because it's written so captivatingly but everyone can understand it...

Shortly after moving into my apartment, the realization that I can do whatever I want without people telling me what to do ;0. (within reason of course, still couldn't jackhammer a hole into my annoying neighbors ceiling/my floor. Dam it!)
First thing I did was drink 48 ounces of mocha, then stayed up all night doing various stupid things just to go to bed at 9 am. (mentionable ones include air guitar with brooms, spin myself dizzy, yell every unoriginal cuss word I could think of in 10 seconds, and organize the names of a bunch of cute girls under a chart listed 'bang' 'kiss' 'date' and 'have them test out various female cosplays'.

Before then, my life was mostly miserable. Shit parents, annoying brothers, me being a general autistic nerd. I'll tell you, the chaos of the first 2 don't mix well with the third.

Graduating from Marine Corps boot camp. To not have to go through that hellish crap any more was so sweet.

I hope that the happiest moment in my life hasn't happened yet to be honest. Maybe I'm living it right now, and won't know till, how ever many years down the road.

I'd have to say that the happiest moments in my life so far were winning back to back state soccer championships during my Junior and Senior year of high school. The feeling of having all of your hard work pay off is really good, and the bus rides home and victory parades were really fun too. I think the one my Senior year was a little bit better because I also won an award that year, and it's always good to go out on top.

So far it's the moment when I realised that my dream career came true. I worked hard for it, enduring countless days without food, long periods of no pay and sleepless nights. There is a phone call I remember, that moment when I understood that this is happening, I finally had a way in.

I wasn't wrong, of course.
