I have a webcomic in production and i had an idea. Why not have Crunchyroll host such things. It would be an easy market to get into. People already fequent the site and it could help artists and writers like myself get out there quicker and easier while keeping crunchyroll in good favor with its users. I see little to no downsides besides having another tab on the menu and it can even help increase traffic on the site. Plus with how big Crunchyroll is getting they could even market it as a potential anime. ( this is long term)
I am not saying my webcomic is amazing and will become anime one day. No. I hope but, i gotta keep things real.
However what if a webcomic is such a hit, that Crunchyroll could risk spending extra making it an anime. Then they hold all the power for making even more profit while having the community be there every step of the way.
I really hope this idea is a good one. What do you guys think? Do you think Crunchyroll should or could host webcomics as " Crunchyroll exclusives/originals" ?

Crunchyroll did used to have something like that, but I guess it didn't get much activity so it was closed down a couple of years back.
