I totally bawled my eyes out when I watched Anohana. It was a really tragic story.

It´s about a group of childhood friends who lost one of their friends at an early age. They´ve all learned to cope with it in different ways but not really moved on. One day, the deceased friend suddenly appears to the MC, and he´s the only one that can see her.

NANA isn't on CR, unfortunately. But it's crazy good. Honestly one of the most mature shows I've seen. It handles it's complex themes through it's incredible character development in very strong ways. One of those shows that you'll get attached to, you'll get emotional but probably not cry over. Regardless, lots of important lessons in it.

OMG I loved Nana. Even though I felt very unsatisfied with the way the anime ended, should I give the manga a chance?

Also thank you everyone for these recommendations omg so excited now!

Yeah. I mean, I thought the ending was passable, it wasn't bad. But it wasn't that perfect ending I so desperately wanted. I haven't read the manga yet! But it's on my list to read!

Haha yeah I think we were all hoping for that perfect ending.. but either way it was great!!! It used to be on Canadian netflix.. not anymore

If you liked Nana I would watch Paradise Kissed its by same author and is really good. OP and ED songs are some of the best
