...not like anyone was watching, but as for all them "Hollywood Elitists" complaining about "disorder in the Trump White House"...

Oscars flub engulfs PricewaterhouseCoopers in controversy

The Oscars flub Sunday night immediately engulfed PricewaterhouseCoopers in crisis, threatening to undermine the auditing giant's awards monitor reputation as social media users heaped scorn upon the company.

The company apologized early Monday after presenters incorrectly announced La La Land as the Best Picture winner, triggering an off-stage scramble that spilled onto the stage and led to an embarrassing reversal in which Moonlight was correctly crowned champion.

The noobs...

If cabin pressure should change, panels above your seat will open revealing oxygen masks; reach up and pull a mask towards you.  Place it over your nose and mouth, and secure with the elastic band, that can be adjusted to ensure a snug fit.  The plastic bag will not fully inflate, although oxygen is flowing.

Secure your own mask first before helping others.

I swear they did that on purpose because Lala Land wasn't 'diverse' enough.

This week, in "Trump Isn't Bad, Because Other People Are".
(Next week: "Oh yeah? Well, a tangerine is MUCH more orange!")

And I'm still waiting for some clarification on the "Vengeance" part:
Was HE the one who flew to LA, sneaked in and switched envelopes, giggling furtively as he tiptoed out the stage door past security?

Usually he could have just ordered a fake pizza delivery, but Ellen DeGeneres beat him to it.

What does this have to do with the president? If anything, you should have titled this thread, "A Vindication For Steve Harvey, because he's not the only that could make a mistake like that.

Remember this?

Steve probably still has nightmares about this.

Because Trump's opposition loves the claim to be (intellectually) infallible: Everything about liberalism is perfect, of course. But yet, they "mess up ", too. And Bigly. Whereas, if Trump "reportedly" messes up, the /skyisfalling

Furthermore, it has everything to do with Trump. How could it not? Did you not watch it (of course, not)? Like the entire show is a rebuttal of Trump's policies. Various acceptance speeches, the skits, the advertisements were anti-Trump. Even the nominations themselves were "politically correct".

All to be refuted in the end by an ironic twist of fate. An embarrassment of the opposition, is a political win for Trump; the creditability thereof, no other way to look at it therefore.

So, it's basically the Nelson Muntz "HAR-har!" from afar, without having any actual thematic connection or participation, except for seeing People Who Were Once Mean To You Trip Up, So There?

Well, er, there's a victory for the New Agenda, I...um...guess?....

%oscars != %liberalism
%oscars == %award.ceremony

I think you're correlating certain things to liberalism and/or Trump incorrectly these days. It's kind of like digging for gold in the middle of the desert - you're picking up a lot of dirt but there isn't much of a chance of any gold where you're digging. As someone that you (and many on this forum) would consider "liberal" -- I don't really care about the Oscars (nor have I ever watched it). lol

Reread the above post; I apologize I was in process of re-editing it. I do that alot, me posts never final until they are. Basically, they spent whole night on "trashing how incompetent Trump is at everything", only to be actually proven incompetent themselves.

EDIT: An NHK report as to such, nonetheless...

The irony... and thus, Trump has his vengeance...

Speaking of such, looks like I misspelled that, again. The real *vengeance, indeed...

Think you missed the true message of the stars on the awards. It wasn't about how incompetent Trump is but how he's been pissing on the 1st, 4th, 5th, 8th, 14th, 15th and 20th Amendments in a truly Un-American way. I truly can't see how all these 2nd Amendment supporters following him blindly take no offense to the man blatantly trying to rape the Constitution worse than Obama, both Bushes, Clinton and Reagan combined. They claim to believe in The Constitution then support him when he attacks it.

...that would assume your charges regarding such are even remotely accurate. The real debate, is as to the debate of the debate, thereof. From the conservative "originalist" view, everything thus far Trump is doing is perfectly legal; even mandated, as by the written intent of 1700s at founding of country.

The liberals, on other hand, claim his "incompetent" understanding of the constitution is to blame. But perhaps, it is the "liberal" view, that is more misguided, as it were...

Simply put, Muhammed Ali Jr., an American Citizen, was stopped and asked specifically if he as a Muslim and detained for hours when answering yes due to the "Not a religiously exclusive" travel ban which let those coming in claiming to be Christian or Catholic straight through. A clear violation of the 1st, 4th and 14th Amendments all at once. Can you argue that fact? Also despite what many are led to believe "illegal immigrants" actually have the same rights as citizens of the U.S under the 14th Amendment (as determined by the Supreme Court in 1896). This is why Trump is having a hard time. He either knows exactly what he's doing in violating the Constitution and doesn't care or is a complete moron who can't comprehend the Constitution. Which would you think he is?

The celebrities at the awards called him out due to racist acts and the "Muslim Ban" as well as his attacks on the members of the press. These are all valid concerns any real American should be questioning as many of the GOP members are starting to do (except Mitch McConnell whose wife got an Ambassadorship under Trump for his ass-kissing tactics during the campaign...talk about a huge conflict of interest that should be investigated by a bi-partisan committee).

I'm sorry... But even I can't make the correlation.... An Oscar awards ceremony disaster is a vindication for the Trump Administration. You are reaching with one of these:

I understand your sentiment, but.... I just can't see the connection, here.

Lots of incomplete thoughts; fake news, or just complete "alternative facts" from the left below. Time to "fact-check the fact-checkers".

...because it didn't happen? These claims are being made by lawyers representing, and are not substantiated with evidence.

You are referring to this...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_v._Wong_Kim_Ark

United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898), is a United States Supreme Court case in which the Court ruled that a child born in the United States of Chinese citizens, who had at the time a permanent domicile and residence in the United States and who were carrying on business there other than for the Chinese government, automatically became a U.S. citizen.

This case is in reference to people born in USA, not illegal immigration. You are tyring to conflate people running over the border with people who where born here (from non-citizens). Generally referred to as "anchor babies".

Real illegal immigrants, do not have citizen rights; else entire world could move here.

His wife was appointed to be Transportation Secretary, not an ambassadorship. She held Deputy Transportation Secretary position under Bush, as well as Labor Secretary.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elaine_Chao
On November 29, 2016, President-elect Donald Trump nominated Chao to serve as the Secretary of Transportation. She was confirmed by the Senate on January 31, 2017, in a 93-6 vote. Chao is married to Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, who has been the Senate Majority Leader since January 3, 2015
